Wonderful socks! So soft and they have some extra padding on the top of the foot to cushion your footwear. No itchiness, very warm, breathable. You won't get sweaty or too hot. Perfect!

I have suffered with cold feet all my life. I bought the Fox River Extreme Medium Weight Ski not knowing anything about them. When I opened them I thought maybe I had made a mistake. They seemed to thin to ever be capable of keeping my feet warm. The first time I wore them it reached a high of 28 degrees for the day. I was outside working. I was in shock that my feet did not get cold that day. These socks are so comfortable and warm. I love them as much as a man can love a pair of socks. I wanted a pair of lower cut socks so I bought the Wick Dry Pathfinder Crew. The blend of materials was very close to the Extreme. The Wick Dry are a bit thicker, but still very comfortable and very warm. I am happy I found these socks. It is nice to have warm feet. Who wants the distraction and discomfort of cold feet. After years of cold feet and brand after brand of socks I have found something that works. And they work well. If you think the price is a bit high for socks don't worry. These things are built. I have put a lot of miles on the Extremes. They are holding up great. The Wick Dry don't have as many miles, but I'm sure they will last just as long if not longer. I have one pair of socks that I paid $20 for. Fox River has outperformed them in every way. Now if they would only make gloves.

Didn't I just order these boots last night? And are they on my feet right now? Why, yes they are! I have quit thinking in how many days it will be before I get my order when shopping at Zappos and think more now in the amount of hours before my next shipment will arrive. And what a fabulous pair of boots they are! I am a perfect size 11 M and they, of course, fulfill the promise that an expensive pair of boots provide and fit magnificently. I was afraid at first of the odd-looking steep angle, but all it really does when I have them on is make my long feet look so tiny and that's always the intent I have when buying any pair of shoes. I have a problem walking in high heels so these are at the top end of my comfort scale at about 3 and a quarter inches (although it looks much taller because of the platform). I would love to be able to wear 4 inch heels again but these give the look of 4 inches without the pain and teetering. Absolutely no hot spots and a breeze to get on and off. Also this wonderful soft sole means no risk of sliding on slick leather. I'm so glad I bought these in August because I know anyone who can afford these will snap them right out of Zappos. And even those who can't really afford them (like me) will sacrifice a couple of things just to own a very good pair of boots that will last at least a decade. If you were wondering, no, they didn't pay me to say this and I don't work for the company. Wish I did, maybe I could get a discount. I shop here too much!
