Finally! I've been searching for a perfect black boot for months now! I finally found it. I wanted something smooth without buckles, but the hardware detail is very subtle, more subtle than it appears on the picture. I am 5'2" and have skinny legs. These boots fit perfectly! They are rather tight around the ankle and I doubt they will work with the skinny jeans, but that's not what I bought them for. When I first put on the boots, they felt a little tight around the toe box. But the leather is so soft that the boot felt better just after about 5 minutes of pacing around the room. I have a feeling it will stretch some more and will feel even better. I also love the non-skin soles, especially here in Chicago! And thanks to Zappos for great service!

Beautiful & comfortable - Girls, these boots are gorgeous!!! They are made very well, good quality, didn't skimp on anything right down to the soles of these boots... and they are comfortable easy to walk in. I had them on all day at work... they didn't once hurt. The leather is top notch butter soft. I love these boots. I wish they came in more colors I would have gotten them in every color they had. That is how much I love them.

Comfortable! Great fit, overall. They do really keep sweat away from the body. Don't like the big "NIKE" band across the top, but it's easily hidden with a shirt.
