looks pretty but... The shoe looks adorable (purchased in pink) in the photo and I am ordinarily a fan of Nina brand for myself and my daughter, unfortunately these were incredibly disappointing on arrival. First, the "cork" platform (to the extent it is cork) is coated with a clear, shiny surface giving not only sheen to the cork but, also seemingly resulting or contributing to its inability to flex. The foot bed and sole are rock hard and the sandal is really heavy, not light like other cork shoes I have bought. The entire sole is inflexible... literally rigid.... no give. I could not make it bend even with with my hand. All in all, a real disappointment for me and my daughter who had begged me for them when she saw them on the site but just as quickly rejected them when she tried them on.
