This is the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn, with the exception of
athletic shoes. I've tried a lot of shoes, and nothing else even comes close. It's all I've worn to work for the past three to four years. I own two pairs, a black and a dark brown. The Cross is the most comfortable of the
Ecco shoes I've tried by far. One caveat: I have a high arch, and the shoe is best suited for people with a high arch, I think. The shoes provide extremely good support and cushioning, as well as wrap-around-your-foot comfort. Other pluses: They last a long time. I've gotten 1-1/2 to 2 years out of mine, and that's wearing them on average of three times a week. They're also easy to take care of and require almost no polishing, just a wipe off with a damp cloth. When the soles on one pair wore through, I had them rebuilt for $65 from an outfit in San Diego. Since the uppers showed almost no wear, it was well worth it.
