This shoe has a loose fit overall. I wear a size 10 and Born is usually a good fit for me but the shoe bed seemed a little "short". I ordered the mahogany and it was very dark but I liked it and the entire look of the shoe. However, the fit was just too loose for me - it felt like it could fall off. These are going back. Too bad!

One of the things I love about Zappos, besides the Free Shipping and Returns, is the helpful customer reviews. This is a perfect example of the usefulness of these reviews. I normally wear a 10W. A previous reviewer had said that even though these are only available in M width, they fit her wide foot. Another reviewer said that the shoe was a little "short". Well, a Born sandal that I already have in 10W seemed a bit longer than it should have been. I was glad to hear that these were running a little shorter, since my 10W really seemed more like a 10 1/2 (if they were available in half sizes) in length. Relying on what was stated, I went ahead and purchased these in a 10. They fit my wide foot and they are the perfect length. And I love the way they look. I purchased this shoe at the last minute for a European trip. It as wonderful! So comfortable I was able to walk all day in them and they looked nice. They have a little brownish stitching on them which seemed to make them even more versatile. The fit was perfect. I normally wear a size 8 in medium width and ordered the equivalent of 8.
