Cold feet?
If cold feet is your worry, worry no more. I wore these
boots without
socks even, and my feet were warm. I wore them in knee-high snow for hours (well, 2 hours maybe), up in the Poconos and still my feet kept warm and dry. The thick cushioning around the ankle keeps snow from falling in, plus there's room in the toe of the shoe to wiggle your toes; you have to be able to wiggle your toes in freezing conditions, I don't care how warm the
boots are. Living in Philly doesn't really require the magnitude of this boot, but after this early snow storm here I found walking on ice and slush a whole lot more pleasant than my usual "
snow boots." Just make sure you have a good sturdy shoe horn, they're a little stiff getting in and out of and I'm not sure a plastic one could handle it more than a couple times. I got the blue and white ones. Awesome.
