I bought these
flip flops to replace my favorite pair of
Reefs that recently broke after four years of being loved. They changed their design for the soles of their
flip flops, so I went looking for another brand. I found these and I have found
The North Face to constantly deliver high quality products worth the price. No difference here. These are worth the money. The construction is high quality and they offer more
arch support than any other
flip flop I've worn. I wear a size 11 and these fit pretty true to width for a
flip flop. My heel is right to the back of the sole. If you like extra room at the back of the sole, you need to buy a bigger size. Also, my toes are right up to the very tip of the front of the sole. My toes don't hang off the shoe, but there is no extra space. The straps are comfy, a little snug, but I just received them today and I'm sure they will stretch a bit. The straps are wide and don't put any pressure on the top of my foot like some of the thinner strapped shoes do. The thong piece that goes between your toes is a soft and flexible
canvas (very comfy). Also, the footbed is not rubber or slick plastic so when they get wet you won't slip. I always water test my
flip flops as soon as I get them. The only reason I gave style 4 stars instead of 5 is because they are a solid color and the wider strap makes them look less feminine. They look just like the picture. The
arch support took a minute to get used to, but that is just because I've never had a pair of
flip flops with
arch support before. I wear
flip flops 3/4 of the year and I plan to wear these all the time. I'll let you know how I like them in a month and after long days walking and standing in them.
