So cute.
Pros and cons on this shoe. First, it's an
Arche, so drips with style...in a class by itself, high-end, well-designed, beautiful French shoe. The color - "Algue" is a dragonfly-forest-green/blue-teal. I think I bought it mainly for the color. Nice high
wedge of that solid
Arche premium latex rubber; soft, flexible, comfortable. Like all my
Arche shoes, I could wear this one all day and still be comfortable, even with the ankle strap, which is very soft, and does not rub the ankle raw. However, it is a relatively heavy shoe. The ankle strap is a nice style touch and means your foot will never slip out accidentally, especially good for my somewhat narrow foot, but the strap visually cuts the leg at the ankle, making the leg look a little stumpy, hard to do on my long thin leg. It's a lot of shoe, and I thought that with a
dress, too much shoe! Hard to describe...just that walking into a room I'm sure the first thing people would see would be the shoes. Kind of clunky looking with a
dress, but with slacks or
jeans, better. A size 39/8 was true to size for my USA size 8 to 8 1/2 foot.
