I have been searching for a backpack for the past two years of college that would be close to perfect and this backpack exceeded my expectations. I have ordered from other vendors and the shipping cannot compare to the reliability and speed of Zappos. I ordered on a Monday night, past 8:00 PM and my order came on Wednesday. Although I wished they had a video for the backpack, it really is the best that I have had so far. I have had countless others with millions of compartments but they are too bulky. This one includes a laptop insert and it carries my MacBook just fine. I can carry my laptop, my umbrella, water bottles, and of course heavy loads of books. Perhaps not heavy duty hardcover textbooks, but I am sure it is capable of doing so. At first the zippers scared me because I thought they would get stuck easily but honestly they are so efficient and simple. The design is beautiful and I have friends complimenting me all the time on how classic and beautiful it is. I take it to school, trips and when I visit
home. I highly recommend it.

This is just what I wanted for my upcoming vacation. Rather than hauling a small carry-on (while also trying to wheel my suitcase), this backpack is perfect! I can put my laptop (has its own compartment sleeve), several pairs of shoes and extras in there. The look is simple, durable and doesn't really look like you're going
hiking.

Great backpack all around - super stylish, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious. The laptop sleeve will fit most notebooks. The zippers are awesome, as is the red bottom. Perfect for channeling your inner "cool kid in school". Seems durable but only time will tell.

Great pack! Amazing color ways and clean design. Main compartment is really spacious, front exterior pocket not so much. One little gripe, when putting books in, the pack gets a little floppy. Alleviate that but sticking either more books or a
hoodie to take up slack. Cinch straps would have been good but might throw off the classic clean look.

First off, I'll start by saying this backpack is much darker than it appears on this site. Although it is dark, it is very stylish. Its simplicity gives it a style all on its own. Very unique backpack. The color is great. I recommend it to anyone. It isn't too big, and the straps are amazing. It is super durable, and well worth the buy.
The zippers are tough. They are a little hard to zip, at first. It's important not to be too rough when you first get it. They seem like they would get stuck. But, don't let that fool you. They are fabulous, and again, very stylish. The outside pocket is very convenient. It has a key holder so you won't lose those. It's a perfect fit for your wallet and smartphone. Quick and easy access is a plus.
The interior of the backpack is red, and gives it a vibrant look to it once you open the backpack. It has an awesome look and feel to it; as well as the outside of the backpack. Look and feel is something I found common with this backpack. Quality. The main pocket opens very wide and has all the space needed for essential items. Great for notebooks, binders, and books.
Overall, this is a fabulous backpack. Not the best in the world, but one I would highly recommend to anyone out there in high school and college. It is beyond stylish, and far too comfortable. So, if you're second guessing a backpack. Don't. Get a Herschel!

I just got the
bags today one khaki one grey. It is a great bag for college if you want function and comfort but not lose style. The khaki looks a lot darker than the pic and the zippers do not really pop like the grey one because the grey is in yellow, so it will just look like an ordinary khaki backpack if not seen close up. Great quality, felt durable. There is a tip that I would like to share that is do not zip the zippers fast for the first several times otherwise you will end up with ruined zippers that do not zip smoothly. Especially with those metal zips.

Overall I like this bag and would buy again. My favorite part is the simple design. If I were going to change one thing, it would be the zippers. They are of poor quality, and only go one way (as opposed to two zippers meeting in the middle). It is kind of a pain, so if you don't feel like constantly battling zippers, this bag may not be for you.

As a college student I absolutely love this bag! It's extremely roomy and has a safe laptop compartment to slip my 15in Macbook Pro in. I bought it in red but I love this bag so much I might get it in a low-key color. I would highly recommend this bag to anyone with a laptop computer and is style-conscious.

My new bag for school arrived today and it is a perfect size for my books and extras. I love the lime punch on the back panel and straps, it adds a fun pop of color without being overwhelming. The zippers are sturdy and didn't have and issues with them sticking. Overall I'm very pleased with my bag and look forward to carrying it. Thanks Zappos for the fast shipping!
