Sweet summer
sneakers. I got this style in red and in navy (which is almost black). The vamp is cut higher than ballerinas, but lower than regular
sneakers. The look works with
dresses and
jeans. Fits my wide feet well and true to size, but only after removing the shaped
insole and putting in a thin flat one. With the
insole, the front is too tight and flat, and the heel is raised too high out of the shoe. I think
Keds should have readjusted the design to accommodate the new
insole instead of just adding it to a shoe cut for regular thin
insole. No real
arch support, even with the shaped
insole, but they are just
sneakers. They do work well for my high arches on top because the vamp stops before the arch. No cutting in there. The Tangy CVOs soles are flexible which makes them comfortable for kicking around. Overall a very cute shoe style that is mostly comfortable with a few modifications. I’ve been wearing them frequently the last month on all but the very hottest days.
