This is a practical winter boot that has style. Perfect for the city boy trudging through the snow.

The inside of the shoe is mostly very comfortable, and it does the job of keeping the water and ice out. However! the negative rating is due to the following reason: there is tag on the inside of the tongue (as you would expect) which has very rough stitching (not expected). After walking around in these all day for the past week, the skin located adjacent to the tag is pealed off and quite sore. I remedied this easily by placing a piece of fabric over the tag... but I should not need to do that in order to prevent injury to myself.

I ordered a pair of these boots for a winter trip to eastern Europe, but unfortunately the right (not left) boot made a horrible 'popping' sound when I walked in it. So I ordered a second pair, figuring that my first were simply defective. Wrong! The second pair made the exact same sound, again coming from the right foot. Too bad, because I really thought these were cool looking winter boots. They are very comfortable, but the quality is obviously lacking!
