Maybe wedges aren't for me - My teen daughter even approved of this look on her forty-some Mom. Unfortunately, I don't think my foot is designed for the style. Mia shoes are usually so comfortable, and I think this one would be, if I hadn't had to go down a half size in order to keep it on my foot. This brings my toes too close to the front and makes it rub and pinch. I love the look and wish it were as cozy on me as my other Mia shoes. I think it might be one some people.

I love this shoe! I got these today and they are so comfortable...it feels like I've had them forever! They are so cute--very flattering on my foot. I love the taupe color--it will go with almost anything. The heel looks high, but it doesn't feel high at all. Possibly a little big (the 8.5 that I ordered is a little big even though it's what I usually wear. They don't feel a true half size larger, though). These are just great!!

Great wedgies! Very comfortable, reasonably true to size. Only thing is I have pretty flat feet and I can't wear anything with good arch support. These have virtually no arch in them.

Very cute shoe. Contrary to the previous reviews here, I think the shoes run a little small. Slightly snug on my foot, perhaps they will stretch out the more I wear them. Overall though, a cute and comfy shoe.

Cute shoe, odd fit - I love the look of this shoe, and it gives the perfect lift for some longer slack that I have. However, it has an odd fit. It's narrow in the toe box, but long and wants to slip off my heel.

These shoes are great! They are so comfortable, I wear them every day. I have pretty flat feet, these don't have an arch in them. So if you need one, you might not like them. Also, they've stretched out a little bit, but I have been wearing these to death so I guess that's no surprise.

Best skating shoes! Van's Old Skool shoes are the only shoes I will skate in. I ride an 8 and 1/2 inch wide deck with wide independent trucks and 62 mm wheels. I don't do flip tricks. I skate pools and concrete bowls. I skate Old Skool style. Van's Old Skools feel the best!

The greatest. Although these shoes aren't truely up to date with modern skate shoes these are the only skate shoes that I have had more than 1 pair of.

Brink Caribbean (trinidad & tobago) These shoes just kick a** all the time! They look good, feel good, and even rock good. You should get some of these. Over here, though, we need an outlet for this product.

Love Those Vans. Girls love the guy shoes! I've always bought men's shoes because I usually can't find women's shoes in my size. I own a pair of Vans Old Skools in navy, and they look SHARP! They're very flexible and durable, and I can walk forever in them. However, after about a month of intense wear and skating the heck out of them, they're beginning to fall apart. Also, they don't have as much padding as I expected. All in all though, they're inexpensive and really cool.

Good looks, little support. Great shoes, yeah, but they ain't half as comfy as my old ones. I'm willing to sacrifice thick padding for looks, but it'd be nice to have a bit more on the bottom (sorry, I don't know -is that the insole?).

Don't cut SD winters! The Old School Vans look cool with shorts in the summer, but during a cold South Dakota winter they just don't cut it! These shoes keep feet vented and are great for a week at camp in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. They wear very quickly and are perfect skate shoes. All around they are pretty good summer shoes!

Vans Old Skools I skated in my Old Skools for awhile, and while they gave me a lot of "control" (big, really really padded skate shoes can feel like you're skating on pillows and don't give you as much "feel" of the ground and the board, in my opinion) they began to fall apart (granted, I wasn't exactly being nice to them) and didn't have much padding. If you want to run around town or just kick around every day, though, these shoes are cool and relatively inexpensive. After I stopped skating in them I just wore them as casual shoes and they lasted over a year. They look great. I'd recommend them.

Flamin'! I just got my shoes yesterday so I haven’t broken them in yet. I’ve been bending them and twisting them for some more comfort, right now they’re not exactly like walking on air, but you know what? It’s worth it! They look so cool. So the most that I want to get out of these shoes is comfort and that they last a long long time, I want to be able to say, when I’m a senior, I got these shoes when I was a sophomore! Because, come on, then they really will be old skool!
