running shoe -
This is the first
running shoe I've come across that is available in a double wide. It is very comfortable on runs, now that my toes are no longer feeling confined. I'm thrilled to have them.

Lots of room, lot of cushioning -
This shoe is very comfy! I'm an under-pronator with a wide foot, so I was happy to find a shoe with lots of room that wasn't built for stability (i.e. over-pronation). My only wish is that the ladies style came with a more feminine look, colors.

Be careful -
I am a serious under-pronator. I wear my shoes down badly at the outside of the heel toward the back. These shoes felt wonderful until about five hours when I realized that my knee was hurting. I had worn them too much to return. There is not enough support in the heels for me.

Wide Toe Box -
I have wide feet and always have difficulty finding shoes that fit in the toe area. I feel like a new woman with these shoes. The toe box is ample and I have had no complaints about my feet hurting. I wish all shoes could have that extra room in the toe area.

Brooks Dyad Shoe -
No
arch support, but has room to insert
orthotics, which I must use. Could be a much better looking shoe.

Started with Dyad and I'm now on Dyad 5's!
Great shoe for stability. I have a wide foot and this is the best pair of
running shoes I've ever owned. Brooks just keeps making them better.

running sneaker for flat footers!
I have a very flat foot and a neutral pronation- this is the best
sneaker I have found to suit my needs. Brooks may not be the best looking
sneakers, but they do perform!

The Brooks Dyad 5 is one of the most comfortable shoes I have worn. Thanks to the excellent help from the Zappos staff they lead me to the correct shoe for my feet. I have been a Recreation Therapist for 30 years and now teach. I am on concrete 8 hours a day. My foot pattern makes me walk on the outside of my feet and the Brooks Dyad 5 helps with the shock absorption of the concrete floor it also seems to have improved my gait. This has been an excellent shoe and the staff at Zappos was so helpful in helping me find the Brooks Dyad 5. Thank you Zappos. JAW

True to size and width. Plenty of room in the toe and lots of space for custom
orthotics. This is my second model of Brooks which I would buy again.
