Super Noppys. I replaced a rubber-nubby souled sandal with the Birky Super Noppy. The nubs on the soul are very stiff material, so not as comfortable to me. I've worn them twice. The second time, with heavy socks. But, I didn't buy them to wear with socks. I hope they become more comfortable. I've worn Dr.Scholl's brand nubby sandals, and the last pair I just replaced were another "?" brand. I really love the stimulation of the nubs, but Birky's are torturous, thus far!

The best massage sandal you'll ever own! These have become my house shoe of choice. I work on my feet and do a lot of walking, so needless to say my feet usually hurt when I get home. I have been wearing the Birkenstock super noppy for six years now and they work miricles for tired feet. Within five minutes my feet feel rejuvenated and relaxed. They are a bit intense at first and take a while for your feet to get used to, thus the name super noppy. But I swear by them now.

My Burkie Super-Noppies - I love my Birkie super-noppies! It took me a full week to get used to them. At first I couldn't wear them more than 5 minutes at a stretch, and I limped as if I had stones in my shoes. But I persevered, and now I can wear them all day without thinking about them. I can even run and jump in them. They're excellent for travel -don't set off airport alarms, and comfortable for walking around airports. I'm looking to buy another pair in a dark color.

Foot pain? Buy the Super Noppy! I had a back injury more than a year ago: two compression fractures. The back pain was horrific and as a side effect, I developed pain in my feet, especially my heels and the outer aspect of my feet. I have always walked long distances for exercise, so I tried various heel cups, and bought 3 types of very good walking shoes, tried footbaths, massage, etc. Then I found the Super Noppy. There has been a significant decrease in my foot pain and today I walked outdoors in my regular walking shoes for almost an hour with only slight discomfort. I urge anyone with similar pain to try a pair of the noppys. My experience with Zappos was excellent: I received the shoes by overnight express at no charge even though I had opted for the 2-5 day delivery. I am impressed with service like that! I have one other pair of Birkenstock sandals that I have enjoyed for 4-5 years.

I have worn Birkies and "Noppy" type shoes for years. These massage sandals have the true Birkie quality and look. They have helped alleviate some of my leg pains. However, they took some time to get used to. Some of the noppy spikes were too high, or had sharp edges, as if they had missed being rounded. I used a hot knife to mold the noppys to fit my comfort zone. I can wear them all day now and forget about them. They are great for lifeguards, because they keep your feet out of moisture.
