Great shoes! I'm addicted now to Tiger shoes. This ones in particular are very rare not found in stores. They are really comfortable and soft, lightweight and very durable. Tight fit where it needs to be. Zappos rocks!

I bought these as a replacement for my Converse high tops, and they're far superior. They don't get as dirty since they're leather instead of fabric and I don't even tie them because the friction between the eyelets and shoelace keeps the laces from coming out. Comfortable enough and provide good support. Maybe a bit hard if you are used to comfort/springy shoes, which I am not - I like motorsport Pumas. Definitely would recommend them.

I've been a committed Onitsuka supporter for a little while now, and had been trying to nab the Mexico Mid Runner for about 5 years. Finally Zappos brings it Stateside in decent quantities. The appearance, I dig it, like you probably do, and I get many compliments. A note on the color. This is definitely a blue shoe, which you can't exactly tell from the pictures. A dark gray navy blue sort of. Like a stormy sky. The fit, like all Tigers, this one has very little support. I'm still hunting for an insole that enhances both arch support and stability. The Mexico Mid Runner in 10 feels slightly longer than the Mexico 66 or Baja 66 in 10. Awesome shoe. Click away.

Good-looking shoe. To me they look like 80s-era wrestling shoes with a more durable (but not much thicker) sole. Literature with the shoes says they were made in 1964 for high jump and pole vault. Length is right for tagged size. Not much toe room. Shoe is more narrow than the \'81 Onitsuka shoes, but it could be that the \'81 is wide for the tagged size. Still I am going to rate narrower than marked size because this is sleek for a sneaker. That is like saying slim for a fat guy but you get the idea.

A good and comfortable shoe once you break them in. I have had two problems however. Firstly after wearing them through their first Chicago winter, some of the leather near the heel has begun to crack. Secondly after about four months of constant use I have nearly worn down the heels. They are really comfortable however for the little material is between your foot and the ground. In all they are good shoes, but probably not the best choice for everyday use.

AWESOME! These shoes are great, not a ton of padding or support but they are still super comfortable. They give you a throwback look but still keep it real; the white is awesome, very fresh looking. They are a little hard to get on at first but they break in very nicely. I normally wear mine loose and untied and the laces stay in their holes quite nicely. Very true to fit, even untied and loose I don't ever feel like my heel is going to slip out. Pretty easy to clean too, I've gotten them a little dirty on bar hopping nights, even kicked fire and the ash came off pretty well! I would HIGHLY recommend adding these to your arsenal of shoes.

A must for Onitsuka enthusiasts - I fell in love the moment I saw these white/blue shoes. It was even better when I learned how comfortable the shoes are. It was a bit stiff on the first two days. But they broke in after two days, and became so comfortable to wear for long hours. Definitely a must have for any Onitsuka enthusiasts...

Retro Cool - Really cool shoes. I used to wear this type of shoes 20 something years ago. Very comfortable. You can wear it with shorts, or take them to a club (they look pretty good with jeans). Anyway, excellent choice if you are thinking of getting old school shoes (everybody else has the Nike’s with the weird colors).

Shoes fit like a glove, very sleek. In person, the shoes could use a little more color around the stitching. Zappos shipped super fast, upgraded to overnight! You gotta love Zappos.

These shoes are very unique looking and truly retro. But there is no rubber on the bottom, it's just the cushion foam. Basically, these shoes feel like wearing foam flip-flops. I've had mine a few weeks and the tread is already gone. And, no rubber means these shoes are extremely slippery on any wet surface. So, in short, totally non functional, very uncomfortable, looks cool, total rip off.
