Sloppy - These shoes look great in the photos, but once on - they are bit frumpy looking. I wish Zappos would offer yet another photo and that is - being modeled on a foot! I doubt I would have ordered these then... I ordered a 1/2 size smaller (as I normally do in sandals) and the straps were loose and felt sloppy on my foot.

I usually wear an 8-8.5 and the 8s were perfect. Very comfortable, but lacking a little in style. Overall, great shoe especially if you are on your feet all day (as I am).

These shoes run large. I own multiple Frye sandals that I am always a size 8.5 in. I ordered an 8.5 in this Darcy peep and it is at least 2 sizes larger. I'm going to order the 7.5. they are so beautiful, they have great rubber traction and I want my size now! These are very comfortable for being high heels. Just be sure to down size, trust me.

I left the comment above. These shoes are very pleasant to look at and comfortable but they are the worst Frye shoe I have ever owned. I own over a dozen pairs of Frye shoes/sandals and boots and I have never once been let down until now. The top stitching is poorly done and the buckles on the sling back stitching came undone on two different pairs I bought within 2 hours of opening the box. I ordered 3 different pairs in hopes of finding a shoe that was made to perfection but no, these fail in craftsmanship and must have been made by a cheap machine that forgot how to properly sew and also did a bad job gluing the gaps. Makes me sad because they are so unique, Frye really let me down (Zappos is always amazing, it is not their fault Frye supplied with them with a poorly made shoe). Super disappointing, if you order a pair then you will notice the defects and understand my frustration.

I really like these shoes! I work on concrete floors, and I can wear these for most the day! I always look for heels that have thick padding beneath the toes, and these are surprisingly lightweight! I do need to stretch the leather out a bit, but only because I have wide feet. I have a pair of Frye boots (which are true to size), and I ordered up a half size just because of the extra width.

These shoes look amazing. I got them in the wine color. I get cat calls from the open windows of passing cabs. They are a little painful on the balls of my feet, despite the cork bed. They are not super comfortable, but they are so awesome looking, I had to keep them anyway. I wear them with wine or rust colored tights and short skirts.

This is THE cutest casual, comfy platform sandal I’ve ever owned. I actually bought these the minute they became available on the Frye website several months back, and they are a dream to wear--and show off! The wide crisscross straps, leather padded footbed and chunky platform make them comfy to wear with jeans or shorts, and the contrast stitching and covered buckle detail scream "look at me!" Frye makes a sturdy, quality shoe that promises to turn heads… worth the money!

Nice shoes. They look better in person. You would think they would be comfortable with the cork bed , but they really are not. They kill the ball of my feet and the sad part is you have to wear them a few time to try to break them in. I have worn them well over 10 times and so far they still kill me ! but now I am stuck with them, not so cheap either. This was my first pair of Frye I thought they were made for comfort, guess I was wrong. It will be my last pair of Frye, too!

I own a lot of Frye shoes and I have to say, this pair is one of the more uncomfortable ones. I love the look and color, but the feel after a very short period is a huge disappointment. This particular shoe made my foot look wider due to the large leather straps. The front of the shoe cuts at my toes. After wearing them for a short period, my feet really hurt and they are not good for walking around a lot. I do like the height and the detail of this shoe is gorgeous. Overall, definitely not worth the money.
