I have a high instep and love Dansko's but have always had trouble across the top of my foot. These have just enough "give" from the elastic gores to make a big difference! Hope they come out with more colors!

Just got these today and sadly had to return them. I wear a women size 12.5 or 13 (depending on the brand) and got a size 43. I tried them on with and without socks. With socks, the shoe was too tight (had to shove my foot in) and without socks my toes were rubbing the end of the toe box. If they came in a size larger, I think they would be perfect. I recommend ordering a half size (at least) larger than what you normally wear. The shoes seemed to be well made and very supportive, otherwise. I exchanged them for a pair of Dansko Professionals (which happen to come in a 44). Crossing my fingers! As always, excellent customer support from Zappos!

I love these shoes! I love Danskos! They are so comfortable especially when you are on your feet all day! I have bunions and flat feet, my toe area is wide and my feet are narrow! But these fit awesomely. My last pair lasted 10 years! They finally wore down and got holes in the bottom. So I upgraded to the Dansko Phoebe and they are great! They are true to fit! I got the same size as the last pair. I am getting ready to buy a new brown pair because my brown ones got a hole in the bottom right after my new black ones arrived! I am not upset though because they lasted over 10 years! I work with horses and am on my feet all day! I would totally recommend them, and they come in some new colors!

Very nice looking shoe but I probably should have ordered "wide" because they are less roomy than the style I purchased in December. I am hoping they become roomier the more I wear them.

These are true to size although they are tight across the instep. They need to be broken in. They are just as cute and stylish as pictured.

Too tight for my feet. I don't have super wide feet either. Too bad too, really liked this style, wish they offered wide. So no complaints about quality, just giving people a heads up about the width.

Great shoe. The heel isn't tapered like some other Danskos I own. This is my work shoe, my travel shoe (convenient to slip off for TSA), walk-the-dog shoe...I get a lot of compliments on it too. Good craftsmanship. Had them for a year now and they have held up well besides a few minor scuffs from wear. (I'm sure I can polish them but haven't had time). Only gave them 4 stars for comfort because after a very long day of wear, the heel is tiresome - yet this is probably true of most shoes with a heel.

I bought these shoes because my last Dansko work shoes were worn out. Which means I bought simply for comfort, who cares about style. Turns out, they look really good. They are a little tight over my instep, but I'm sure that after wearing them for a little longer they will stretch to fit. I like them so much I may buy another pair in another color.

This is my second time buying this shoe. I like the support of a Dansko shoe with the elastic to fit my high arch. I tried the wide Dansko Professional because I was attracted to the variety of colors that it comes in, but this shoe fits better. My foot doesn't slide around as much as it did in the wide shoe. The elastic insert allows me to wear this comfortably all day while I teach third grade. Please, Dansko, start making this shoe in jazzier colors!

Love, love, love. However, it took me several attempts to find the right pair. I tried a couple other Dansko styles that just didn't fit my foot right (toe box too small, etc). Then out of the first pair of Phoebes I ordered one was perfect, but the other was too tight across the arch. I called Dansko, and they said since they're each handmade, even another pair in the same size might work. Voila! So if they're almost perfect, but not quite, another pair might be just the ticket!
