A favorite in my family! I originally purchased these 9 months ago for my then 12 yr. old son who wore a 5 Youth. He loved them immediately and so did I (I used to borrow them to walk the dog, run to the store, etc. I wear a woman's size 7-7.5 and they fit me perfectly!) When my son grew out of them 4 months later I was thrilled that they were officially mine. I wear them all the time and they've held up great. Last month I bought my son another pair (almost 14 years old and now in a size 8 man's). I know they're considered slippers by we use them as indoor/outdoor shoes. They look amazing with jeans. We both wear them w/o socks and the wool keeps your feet warm without making them sweaty. I think these are built to last as after 9 months I see no signs of wear, but if they do get worn out or outgrown, I would def. buy these again. I've been a huge fan of Zappos for years and now I'm a huge fan of Sorel as well!

Zappos just sent me an email, saying that it had been a year since I bought these slippers, and I could order a new pair. However, my husband lives in these slippers, and they have held up amazingly, there is no need to buy another pair this soon. He not only wears them around the house, but takes the dog for walks and goes shopping. They are only comfortable, warm and can withstand some water.

I bought these for my sweetie who came to visit from Florida over Thanksgiving. My home is on the cool side, so I bought these for a non-slipper wearing man. He loves them: great fit (I bought 1 size larger), very stylish, warm and comfortable. It's comforting to know that if he didn't like them I can return to Zappos with no shipping expense!

I got these for my husband, and they run a little small with socks on, but they are comfortable and warm and will be fine once the pile compacts a little.

Great slippers, but oh man do my feet sweat in them...and the fake sheep lining doesn't exactly wick moisture. So along with the sweaty factor comes stinky slippers. But really, they are great...so I wear them all the time, which has created the above complaints. Sturdy enough to wear out shoveling snow, to the store, etc.

Great slippers, they are well made and I liked them much better than the UGG slippers I had ordered and returned.

I bought these slippers as a gift for my husband. He loves them. Initially, he said that they felt a bit snug with socks on, but they quickly loosened up enough to fit perfectly. He scuffs along with them, but they do stay firmly on his feet even when going up and down stairs. They keep his feet toasty warm and the sole allows him to wear them outside in the snow. He hasn\\\'t had them long enough to comment on the durability, but they seem to be very well made.

I love these slippers. They are warm, comfortable, and easy to get on and off. At first I worried they might be too small, but after I wore them for a while, the lining packed down a bit and they fit perfect. I ordered a pair of pretty expensive slippers last year and by the end of winter they were falling a part, but I can tell these are going to last a long time. Very well made. I would recommend them highly.

I love these shoes. I have been wearing Merrells for years and these are the most comfortable. There is plenty of room in the toe box for my wide foot even though they are not a wide width, and they are just plain comfortable! They didn't even need a breaking in period. I also have a high arch, and the arch support is great. I will be ordering these shoes again when I need a new pair!

Great shoes. I wore them brand new for a week of hiking: no blisters. They run a little small, so I ended up returning them for a half size bigger.

What a great hiking shoe. Without any break-in period, I have already used these to go on about half a dozen hikes here in the low desert of southern California with no rubbing, no blisters, and good, lightweight traction. The only thing to remember is that they're really just a lightweight hiking shoe, not a boot, so any extended hiking or backpacking will require more protection and stiffness. But for non-wet conditions on short day hikes, these are the ticket.

I have plantar facsiitis and wore these shoes right out of the box hiking in Yosemite and the Grand Canyon. Fit perfectly and didn't need breaking in. Best walking/hiking shoes. No problems whatsoever!

I bought these shoes, in the smoke color, in a local store last year. I have medium width feet with narrow heels. I had been looking for low top hiking boots off and on for a couple of years. These were the only ones I found that fit my heels well. There was no slipping. After I injured my foot in December, these were the only shoes I owned that my doctor would let me wear. I ordered a second pair from Zappos because I wanted a darker pair. My two pair of Moab Ventilator shoes were the only shoes that I wore for two months. There was no break-in period and they are very comfortable.

I love these shoes. I had to go half a size up, typically I wear a 6.5 and had to get these in a 7. I probably could have gone even a full size, depends on the socks and type of hiking you are doing. Since I'm using these for light hiking in hotter weather, I am wearing thin wicking socks which works great with them. The toe box is not small, but it does kind of square off, so if your toes are of different lengths, which mine are, it does hit one weirdly sometimes. Overall, I love these shoes and they have come in handy for zip lining, horse back riding, hiking and volcano trail walking.

These are really great shoes. I work on my feet, standing on concrete floors all day. They are great shock absorbers and fit well. This is my 4th pair of these shoes. Love them.

Love these shoes! I work on concrete with a lot of walking. They hold up well and are quite supportive. They run a little small. I typically wear an 8, but get an 8 1/2 in these shoes. Highly recommend them!

I love Merrell shoes - this one fits well but is heavier than the Siren Sport I bought last time. Better for hiking probably.

I love these hiking shoe and have been wearing them for years. I loved the old blue color but this color is nice too. I buy these one size bigger than my normal shoe size because my toes seem to blister from hitting the end of any shoe I buy to hike in. Buying them bigger allows for more room in the toe area. I just make sure I lace them snugly and I always add an additional flat cushion insert under the manufacturers insert in all my shoes for more cushioning. I think this comes with age. Also tightening my shoes before I go back down the mountain helps with this as well. These are great shoe, I will buy them forever if they make them forever.
