New for 2008, the Wiley X® Ashley is part of the Women's Street Series.
Wiley X® uses excellent materials and precision manufacturing to create every lens. All Wiley X® lenses block 400 nanometers or 100% of the sun's harmful UV rays. Each lens is made from pure shatterproof Selenite™ Polycarbonate and they surpass ANSI Z87.1 safety and ANSI Z80.3 optical standards. They are then formulated and die-cut to eliminate distortion providing the perfect optical clarity.
The smoke (grey) lenses have the maximum glare reduction. They won't distort colors and are excellent in bright/glare conditions. Light transmission: 20.23%, 13.40%.
The bronze brown lenses are superior for visual definition. They increase contrast and enhance ground level contours in most light conditions. Light transmission: 19.05 %.
