Love it - This shoe is comfortable right out of the box. I have very wide feet and they fit! I, like many others, have a difficult time finding fashionable, comfortable shoes in a wide width, but I am very happy with these. I will keep on the lookout for other Trotters.

I love the look of the leather-covered heel, but after wearing these shoes once, it's apparent that they're not going to hold up the way traditional heels do. I was excited to find them in two colors, but may return one as I am hard on shoes.

Nice style - Comfortable with good support. Great to have a flat that has a nice look versus plain.

Great shoes - This pair of shoes are cute and a very different style, which makes them unique and stylish. I found them very comfortable with no break-in time needed. I wear them all day long with comfort. I recommend these shoes.

Stylish in a wide size! Extra embellishments are hard to find in wide sizes. Very cute.

Comfortable from the start - I saw this shoe in a local department store in the pewter color, but the store only had the shoe in my size in plain black. I was thrilled to find it on Zappos in my size in the color I wanted. This is a great shoe for work and even for an occasional evening out. It was comfortable from the first wearing. The heel is covered by the same leather as the body of the shoe, so it looks like you're wearing really flat shoes, but there is a bit of a lift. I'm a little worried as to how this area might hold up to regular wear, but it's been OK so far. Overall, I'm happy with the shoe.

Excellent comfort shoe with some style - I cannot wear heels anymore and find it difficult finding low heeled comfort shoes that look good. These were comfortable from the beginning without any break-in period. I'll buy another paid in brown when they become available.

Cute Shoe - I have hard to fit feet, 9.5WW and in need of a wide toe box to accommodate assorted "issues". And I like to wear something stylish and pretty. These shoes fit the bill. They needed a bit of stretching but the leather was pliable. The bronze/pewter combination goes well with black and gray. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Comfy, cute shoes - I preface this by saying I haven't gone on an extended walk in these yet, but they are very comfortable around the office. In fact, I don't want to put my old pair of shoes back on! I got my usual size and they are a little loose (no socks on) and there is a slight hard edge on the inside of the leather trim. I can tell it will rub a little, but nothing too major. The look is great and I will be keeping them.

Thanks Zappos.com! These shoes fit like a glove! I have a hard time finding shoes in which sizes are true. These Bostonians were a perfect "10", literally. I wear a size 10. Not to mention the sharp, classic style of this shoe has gotten me a lot of compliments. I plan on coming here in the future because I definitely know my size. Thanks again!

The Bostonian Canton is a very attractive shoe. The width (B) felt true to size, but there felt like a little too much room in the heel when I first put them on. After spending all day in them for the first time, my feet did not ache at all! I've only had them for a few weeks so I cannot make any comment on their reliability, but I would likely buy this shoe again.

Solid, comfortable choice - Very nice shoe, well made and traditionally styled. Very comfortable as an all-day work shoe, although it was a bit uncomfortable in the heel for the first few wearings. Highly recommend this shoe.

Bostonian Canton - Great shoe for the price, however, for the first time ever, the shoe wore a blister on the heel of my left the first day I wore the shoe. I still have to wear a bandaid on my left heel to keep from obtaining another blister.

Just Right - Ok, this is how the Internet is supposed to work: I ordered these Friday at noon and got them by Monday at noon. The look just right, fit just right, and we're a breeze to pick out on the website. I have weird feet (long and narrow) and I could spend a whole weekend at shoestores and have nothing to show for it. I totally endorse these shoes and Zappos.

Good Shoe...Just not Brown - Recently picked up this shoe, and it's a sharp looking low profile dress shoe, with some wingtip features to make it a cap toe with understated flair...but, it is really burgundy. It can work as a brownish/burgundy with tan/biege/khaki hues, but it is not a good shoe to pick up as a brown shoe to be worn with any darker shade of brown, or as a go to brown shoe.

Better than the more expensive brands - These shoes felt great right out of the box. The color is a very rich shade of brown and to my eye these shoes have a better proportioned look than some of the more expensive brands. I've worn them with a blue pin stripe suit and also a charcoal gray chalk stripe suit and they look great.

Disappointed - I ordered these shoes for a new job to look dressier. While they look dressy, they're not very comfortable -- narrow and a higher heel than they should. Plus, they make a loud noise when you walk and sound more like women's shoes. My feet ache after wearing them all day and I'm not on my feet much -- I sit at a desk. They're also much more pointed at the end than I expected. I could not recommend these shoes.

Good Look, Need to Break In - These shoes look awesome (great for weddings). I actually like the hard, smooth soles which are excellent for the dance floor. They are somewhat noisy (unless you like tap). I wore thick socks when I broke them in, and it's not exactly a soft comfortable shoe. The laces seem a bit thin. I'll see how they stand up and last to the hardwood floors over time.
