I have several pairs of these
boots. They are the only shoe I can comfortably walk any distance in. The basic structure seems very solid. There is definitely something right about the arch and shape of the sole, very good support (supports my full orthotic well). I walk in snow and rain and stay warm and dry. I'm not sure why because the upper materials seem strange in some way, not the same rugged feel you'd get from an
Ecco boot. Although, it is holding up fine. Just seems to stretch when I pull the laces tight, but I have a wide foot and have to work with very
wide shoes. All in all, I'm thankful for the
Aetrex trail runner. So far, it's been very good to me.
