Great looking shoes! Have received compliments time and time again about the cool colors and style of the shoes. I am usually a 10.5, and was advised to order a size down because Golas usually fit large. This worked for me, and after about a month they are quite broken in. However, I prefer a more looser fitting shoe, so in hindsight I probably should've ordered an 11. For most people though, the size down would be the way to go. Wide feet beware! These are narrow shoes.

Great look, really comfortable - This shoe looks better than the pictures; it definitely gets a lot of compliments. I read some of the other reviews and was a little shaky because the shoe is apparently not that comfortable. I personally thought they were extremely comfortable (and I live in DC so I walk everywhere). This was a great purchase!

Nice and different - I got the ones with the blue laces. They are really comfortable and look great with the black and silver inserts.

Gooooooal-a - Great looking shoe! The padding is sparse and minimalist and the support is average and basic but I didn’t buy this shoe for stability or sports, I got it for the wowee factor which it does just fine...I’m a 10.5'' and the size 10 was more than fine for me...I’d definitely buy another Gola..And soon!

Love them - I love them! They are definitely the best golas I’ve gotten. I got the grey ones with red stripes, they are amazing! They get noticed and everyone loves them, best of all me!

Nice - Pretty shoe. Pretty comfy. Not an everyday kinda shoe due to the thin sole. But quite nice overall.

Patriot Kicks - So far so good.....very comfortable and the compliments come from every angle. The only complaint I have is that Gola does not have half sizes on Zappos and I have two feet that require a half size. I was very impressed w/ the service I received from Zappos and my shoes got here 1 business day after I ordered them, for free.

It's just about the looks - These shoes look really slick. They go with just about everything and that red flare lets it get noticed. If you find Puma's trendy shoes comfortable, then you'll be content with these shoes from Gola. If you want comfort, buy the New Balance 992's, or Clarks...brands that exceed in comfort. The Gola's are a fashion statement. Consider buying inserts if you'll be walking in them a lot. The shoes have no cushioning, no shock absorption, so after a long day your first action when getting home will be to tear the shoes off your feet. Also, if your feet are standard width, the toe will be snug on the side (no half-sizes)...wide feet stay away from these shoes, you'll develop bunions with excessive wear!

These shoes do look nice....however there have been a number of issues with them despite the fact that it's been only four months since I got them and I have not put them through a terribly rigorous wearing: First, the "leather" accents (or whatever material) accents smelled quite bad for the first few months (I know this is common with real leather, but it smelled quite like chemicals instead). Second, this material also began fraying (little strings hanging off the edge of the material by the stitching). I try to trim it off but it just frays more! Third, the insole of one shoe came loose and now refused to stay in place, usually ending up riding up my heel as the day goes on. Fourth...I found them to be just plain uncomfortable. Sure, they are fine for sitting around, but not much for walking. Thanks to Zappos, though, for their great customer service and willingness to let me return these!

For those with bunions, or just wide in the toes. Any Cole Haan Air Bria model should work. The original Air Bria Ballet was the best, but it is no longer available. The Air Bria Stitch Ballet is a nice replacement for it. Same classy style and comfort.

I got these in the green. They are okay in terms of comfort, but cut into the top of my foot by the end of the day. Also, the first time I wore them, they turned my feet green (there is a little patch of green suede on the inside heel of the shoe). So I suggest wearing dark trouser socks the first couple of times you wear these.

Sizing problems - Good looking shoe that I was hoping would work for me, but ordered in a size 5.5 was too small. Ordered in a size 6 was too large. This shoe has sizing problems. Too bad.
