Comfy and Cool - I bought these for general sport use- racquetball and long-boarding (skateboarding). The soles flex where they need too, and are stiff where they need to be. I recently have been wearing custom arch supports and these compliment them nicely. They fit perfectly and don't seem huge on my size 46(11") feet. The soles grip my skateboard well. I can move on the wooden floor well in racquetball. They are non-marking soles. They are light weight which is a big plus for walking, travel and comfort. Importantly, the mesh uppers totally breathe. You can feel a cool breeze through the shoe. So they should be invaluable in the hot summers. All in all, a hi tech looking 21st sneaker. It took awhile to move me away from Vans. But I would rather be comfortable then look cool at this point.

Great shoe! Really comfortable all day long, easy to slip on and off, good support...can't say enough about them. Received plenty of compliments (got the black ones). Great for running around or for the gym, although I wouldn't consider them as running shoes. This is what you want if you're looking for some comfy, convenient kicks with a little style. As always, Zappos is great!

Nice fit and very lightweight. As comfortable as many of the other Ecco shoes I have owned. Definitely more of a recreational, sport shoe. I have worn while bicycling, light to moderate hiking and just out and about. Probably more of a spring/summer shoe due to the mesh uppers which let in quite a breeze. If it's cool out, you'll feel it! Wish they were a little nicer as far as build and quality. The "leather" is synthetic I believe, but the look and style overall isn't bad.

These are the most comfortable light hikers I've ever worn. The lacing system is a miracle and absolutely no break-in is required. In fact, I took them out of the box and immediately hiked in comfort to the summit of a 12K peak in Colorado. I did, however, conclude that the soles are probably not stiff enough for hiking over a lot of scree or other very rocky terrain with anything more than a day-pack.

I bought these shoes because I had been very impressed with the Ecco line of sandals. I own 3 pairs of the sandals and have enjoyed them over the years. One thing I like about the sandals is that they are usually wide in the front part of the shoe and are aerodynamic with regard to fitting the foot contours. That isn't true for these Travelites. These shoes are true to what the sizing states: medium width. The only other con is that the arch support could be a little better. It just seems that there must be an Ecco tennis-shoe production team that is a little more generic than the sandal production team. Other than that, these have several pros: mainly that they are lighter than my previous tennis shoes; they are cooler on the feet since air passes through the mesh material; and the styling is about the best that I have seen in a black tennis shoe. They look interesting.

These shoes are tremendous. I purchased the green color scheme as a walking shoe for a trip to Europe. They look great with a huge variety of clothing styles and are the most comfortable shoe I\'ve ever worn.

I just wanted a comfortable everyday shoe that I didn\'t have to keep tying granny knots every time I put them on. These shoes are perfect. They are well made of high quality materials. They fit well and are quite comfortable. Easy to slip on and off.

Bought these for my husband. True to size. Comfortable toe box. Good looking and the elastic closure means no laces to open when you don\'t want them to.

My husband got these fitted with an additional removable insole - absolutely loves them. Very comfortable and nice-looking. He wears them almost every day. Only problem - the mesh on top caught on something and tore, and these shoes aren't water-proof so he can't wear them when it rains. We'll probably buy the same pair again, though, when these wear out.
