I have these in waxy brown and they're the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned -well worth the investment. I recently purchased them in stone as well.

Awesome shoes
Have owned a pair of black leather Altons for 2 years. I wear them a lot and find they are the most comfortable shoes I own, along with another pair of
Birkenstock's. Do not be deterred by the fact that they look wide when you look down at them...wear them and see how great your feet and back feel. I have gotten so many compliments on these shoes in spite of my concerns about them looking wide.

A shoe for all the right reasons -
I would much prefer to wear my Birkie
sandals to work, but in a medical college environment, and as an administrator, they wouldn't work. The Alton is comfortable and even goes with those silly business costumes I wear when necessary. Comfort, style, did I say comfort??

Talk about your heavy-duty
work shoes! These have stood the test of time and abuse of my job and are hardly worn. I use these for my catering job. They're non-slip and comfortable. Well worth the cost, I'm going on my second year with them.

Comfortable, loose fitting clog. Feels like a true

Smart shoe for the casual professional -
Comfort and style combine to make this a first choice when out of the office. I wear it in the operating room and get compliments on the smart look. Easy to wear when in a rush to get out.

This shoe is perfect to wear to work, and so versatile. They can be worn with
dress and casual wear and not be noticed, like many clunky orthopedic type shoes. I have a 2E width, and never considered
Birkenstocks because of that, but they are very wide and fit perfectly.
