Decent shoe, but narrow - I ordered these shoes extra wide because I have wide feet. I got the size 11.5 and they were so tight and narrow I had to order a size 12 extra wide. They fit, but believe it or not, are still on the narrow side. I’m not sure why
New Balance has such a wide variance in the way their shoes fit. About the shoes: they are NOT good for
street jogging. They are literally made for interval/sprint work on turf or grass. If you do a lot of intense exercise on a field (sprinting, crab crawls, lunges, bodyweight squats, medicine ball work) then these shoes are great. They have a "grip" sole that wraps up the front of the shoe and the sides, giving you maximum benefit when launching or pushing. They are not cushioned enough for long distance
running. These would be good for the
gym too as they are lightweight and are molded enough to give you a "natural" feel for your stance without tremendous padding and ankle support. Boxers and MMA guys would probably find this a wearable shoe in the
gym. Overall a decent shoe, but consider going up a whole size if you have wide feet.
