I ordered these in red and they are absolutely gorgeous! The leather is very soft and not flimsy. It wraps around the foot, the heel feels stable; hugs your heel so you feel very sure footed. I usually have trouble wearing shoes with heels higher than 2" but thought I'd give them a try. Unfortunately, they this heel is still too high for me so I will be sending them back (so sad). I must say I'm very impressed with Clarks 'Indigo' line - comfort AND classy; I will add this line to my favorites.

These were way too high at the ankle for me. The leather cut into my ankle bone. I will have to send these back. Too bad, they were cute.

I ordered the Clarks Ridgefield in red. I have received numerous compliments on them and they are very comfortable. I just love all the Clark heels. This is my 3rd pair of Clark's in the last 4 months. Thank you Zappos for your great selection.

Loved the look - The shoe looks great. I love the color, more copper than red. It fits a little wide for my foot.

Good looking shoes, seem very comfortable - I just received my pair, and haven't worn them for a full work day yet, but they seem very comfortable so far. The color in real life is more metallic/copper colored than brown, but I think they look great.

This shoe is SO cute and stylish. I think it would go very well with a dress, a suit a pencil shirt, or a great pair of jeans. I got the black and it looks just as it does in the pic. The other colors look like they would be awesome. Its super high quality leather and a sturdy, wooden heel. It may be a little high for someone not used to a higher heel, but again, the heel is really sturdy, so is worth a shot if you're wanting to try something higher. The only problem is that they are a little too wide. I have a pretty standard foot, maybe a hair narrow. There was just too much space on the sides. If you have just a slightly wider foot, these will fit you perfectly. The length of the shoe was perfect.

I love these shoes. They can be dressy and also look good with jeans. They are comfortable, stylish and I can walk long distances in them. The color does not seem grey but more of a bronze and looks good with either black or brown.

This shoe drew lots of admiring comments. The unusual red leather with metallic coppery undertones is subdued but eye-catching. The heel is very stable which was a concern since I don't wear heels often. I wear a smallish size 5 and these fit perfectly.

The other reviews are spot-on with this shoe. It is a tad wide BUT because of the unique overlap design of leather on the sides of the foot going toward the vamp it stays on my B-width foot okay (with zero pain); however, if your foot is more AA, it will be too wide. My concern was the heel but it's prettier than in the photos and gives the shoe a hip, modern look -- and you don't see those "stripes" unless you're holding the shoe (be sure to replace the heel cap when needed so you don't gouge the heel). I'd add that I can't remember seeing leather this glimmery, strong but flexible, and expensive-looking on a mid-priced shoe ever. Toenail exposure is minimal but you'll still need a pedicure, especially if you don't wear stockings. The length is perfect. Only moderate arch support, but there's room to add an arch support insole if needed.

My second review of this shoe: Yesterday I said it runs a tad wide; well, I was wrong. Trying it on early morning and late afternoon, it fits perfectly both in width and length. There is also an innovative insole lining that is ever-so-slightly tacky to keep the foot from falling forward, but at the same time is dry and cool to the touch. The outer sole has a sort-of rubbery raised "village" pattern (you don't see this wearing the shoe) to keep you walking securely. And while the arch support doesn't "fill in" my arch, there is enough uniquely-placed support that I would never need an insert. PLUS, if that weren't enough, did I say it makes your legs look great?? I'm rushing to buy a second pair!
