The Encore is a great
skate shoe, stiff foot bed, heel gel, low
arch support, toe box is strong, good grip, comfortable, stylish. Break them in and the foot bed is compliant with good board feel. If you wear
Vans or Chucks, the
arch support is similar to those but far more comfortable. This is my sixth pair of Encores and they have yet to fail me in performance and looks. Zappos gets them to you quick!

Cool Shoe -
Bought this for my son, he said it was just a little too small. I am not sure if maybe his foot has grown or if the shoe runs 1/2 size small. Other than that, he loves the style.

These Shoes Are Great -
Encore's are the most comfortable
skate shoes I have ever owned. They break in really quick and have awesome board feel. I would recommend these shoes to anyone who wants very comfy shoes that are great
skate shoes also.

The size and width are perfect. The look and quality is stylish and tough. They have a classic look to them which I love. The only thing that really lacks is the padding and
arch support. If you are at a concert or standing/moshing for a few hours. Your feet get tired due to the lack padding/cushion. Same goes for bmx and skating for hours. For chill shoes they would be great. Buy them for the style and you will be happy.

Like most
skate shoes, these have a stiff footbed and padded walls. Not much in the way of
arch support, but if you know what you're getting when buying this type of shoe, you'll absolutely love this shoe. It looks great!

I needed a pair of brown shoes in my lineup. I bought these because they are the best looking brown shoes Zappos offers. They are really comfortable and have quickly become one of my favorite shoes to wear.
