Great hiking boot - Bought these for a 3 day hike up Mt. Whitney in CA. They were absolutely great. Good traction, kept feet warm and dry, even when walking through snow and across streams. They are light weight and stayed tied. Threw them in the washer after the hike and they look like new. I would put them against any pair that cost 2x as much.

I love this shoes! I'm a big Naughty Monkey fan and I wasn't disappointed this time. Shoes look great and were very comfortable. The first time I wore them was for dinner/drinks in DC and they did not cause me any discomfort while walking around the city. Please keep in mind that this is a very high heel shoe, so I wouldn't wear them if I need to walk more then 2 blocks or stand on my feet for long amounts of time. Shoes fit true to size, some arch support. I've seen a comment that the strap across the toes is too wide. I didn't have this problem, it was very comfortable for me, but I have a slightly wide feet.
