Not bad.
I was excited at first about the
Trotters Katarina because it seemed like the perfect, comfy
sandal for wide feet. It's attractive enough, although the big cut-out in the straps looks a little funny to me. What I found after wearing them to walk around the streets of New Orleans during a recent visit is that they begin to feel pretty flat after a short time, without a lot of support. They also rub on certain parts of the foot (little toe and ankle) which I thought would soften up, but hasn't. So, I don't automatically reach for them when I'm looking for a super comfortable
sandal, but save them for when I want to look a little more polished. For you women with wider feet, this is a good bet. You'll notice below that I recommended
SAS Sandals - these are so darn homely, but really truly the ONLY
sandals that are soft, wide, supportive and endurable for many hours on my size 9.5 4E feet.
