I wanted sandals that I could walk in all day and be comfortable. I will use these around town, on the beach, in my drift boat on the river, boating at the lake; basically, everywhere. They are great.

I had always wondered what the big deal was about Tevas, but I\'m now a convert. These sandals were comfortable from Day 1--perfect for doing errands around town or a day at the beach. The straps allow for adjustments in multiple parts of the sandal, which I imagine increases its comfort for a variety of feet. My only slight area of dissatisfaction is that I occasionally find the strap material a bit irritating on the tops of my feet. But overall a great purchase.

I am very happy with these sandals. They fit well and are well made. I use them more as an everyday sandal, but they have done well when hiking as well. It took about a week to break them in, but now they feel like slippers. I like the buckle and various (and easy) ways to tighten them. I like that they don't use Velcro like other Tevas do. My only issue is that the front strap does not always stay under its holder, but it hasn't presented a big issue yet. I bought these because a previous reviewer said they were more like the original Tevas when they first came out and were of a higher quality. So far, I'd have to agree. I'd definitely recommend these sandals, but would suggest you buy a pair a 1/2 size larger than your normal size. On another note, I only have good things to say about Zappos. They have the best customer service in the world and ship orders immediately. My sandals arrived the day after I ordered them even though I opted for 3-day shipping. On another purchase, they mailed me a new pair of shoes the same day I sent the previous pair back for return (for a new size). I was very pleased. They are top-notch.

Teva - Univ. Buckle 2 - I ended up needing to size up 1 size in the Univ. Buckle 2 sandal, but I have extra long toes, so in an open toed sandal, I needed the extra length. Fit and comfort are as expected with Teva and the Univ. Buckle 2 is more like the older Teva styles with a flatter footbed and higher arch support (something I have disliked in the more recent styles). I also have a very narrow foot and with the buckle system I had no issue with getting this sandal to fit properly. Finally, Zappos continues to impress me with their outstanding customer service. I had to send the smaller size back and had the next size up at my doorstep the very next day before I even got the return back in the mail.

Great Summer Footwear - I love these sandals! They have a great look and are super comfortable. They have great arch support and the footbed actually feels like a running shoe. I went biking in mine the other day and they were great. I'd recommend going to the Teva website and following their sizing recommendations. I'm usually a 12 in most shoes, but am an 11 in these. Glad I followed the sizing guidelines!

Nice - First off Zappos has great customer service. Secondly this is a very comfortable sandal that could be worn all day. There is one annoying thing, that the sticky rubber bottom has everything sticking to it when you walk.

Fantastic shoe - back to the "old" style - I had my last pair of Teva's for 9 years, when they finally wore out, I tried many different pairs of Teva's, but they all seemed to have this overly thick heel and I kept feeling like I had women's heels on - all the weight was transferred to the balls of my feet. But this style is back to the "old" way - where the padding is a little less thick but not any less cushy. IMHO, there was nothing wrong with their old style of shoes and I’m glad to see someone at Teva agrees with me and has managed to hang on to this superior way of building a shoe. The flexion is perfect, while the sole gives support, it also is easy to flex (an issue with Teva's thicker styles). The looks, however, I find the grey of the sole to be kinda blechy - would rather have the sole be black. The amount of adjust-ability in the straps is very nice - everything you expect from a good Teva. I hope these will last me as long as my last ons did. It's hard to find shoes out there that will stand up to 9 years of almost constant use and punishment, but Teva stands as a model of how to make a shoe last.

I bought these sandals for both sailing and general outdoor wear. They perform phenomenally at both. They let my feet breathe on the boat, don't fall off due to their strap system, and have great traction on a wet foredeck. I'd give them 5 stars if only the sole held up better under daily use. There is already noticeable wear along the front and balls of my feet. Save this (and even though the material on these shoes isn't supposed to be their toughest, and is advertised as such), I'd recommend them to everyone and anyone. I'll probably buy these again given that they don't continue deteriorating and that I can get a good price on them (i.e. on sale somewhere). The color isn't as ugly-green as some pictures have them appear online. Just think outdoorsy and you'll appreciate their appearance; it's tastefully done.

Same problem as the others who were disappointed with this sandal. Great fit, great style, love the buckle and wearing around water. But I bought a pair and 6 months later the soles de-laminated on both. Catastrophic failure of the glue. Returned them for a replacement and the same thing happened again after about 8 months of casual wear.

My husband really liked this shoe until the soles became unglued and started flapping on both shoes after just a few months of wear.
