VERY nice shoes - This is my third set of Oakley sandals, & if different styles/colors keep arriving it probably won't be my last. The most comfortable sandal with long lasting durability on the market in my opinion. I just wish they carried more of other colors in my size which is 13D. This was my first time ordering from Zappos & the service & shipping was five stars all the way. Fastest service from an online retailer I have ever experienced. Thanks again Zappos!!

Very comfortable and good looking sandals - These are extremely comfortable and blend well with a lot of clothes, wish I had bought them sooner.

Good slide - I have the chocolate slides. They could pass as a dress sandal. I thought the price was a little high for a summer shoe but it’s the only pair I liked. My normal size is a 12, had to get 13 for better comfort, (12 felt small, tight and looked short). They are comfortable but can make the bottom of the foot a little warm. I’m not a sandal person so these fit the bill for short term occasions for me.

Great service, great slider - This was my first experience with Zappos but it won't be the last. The Oakley slider is wonderful...good looking and feels great. I agree with a lot of other reviews though, order a size bigger than what you normally wear.

Awesome boots!!! I just got my boots today and wore them for an hour! Within an hour I received THREE compliments and people asking where I got them. They say these are Industrial boots, which they could be, but if you are looking for a sharp pair of Doc's to wear to EVERYDAY functions, these are it! As far as comfort goes, usually it takes me a few days to break in a pair of shoes, but these instantly felt good!

Best shoe ever. This shoe was tight at first, but after a few weeks they felt better. This shoe is the best workboot I've ever had. I didn't even know they were steel toes, which is the best, and plus they look really good!

Just as I expected - This is my second pair of steel toe DMs, and these are just as comfortable as the first ones. The outer soles in these look like they have some kind of gel inside of them. I'm looking forward to working in them. Safe enough for work, and good looking enough for Sunday meetinga. Thanks Zappos!

Blow out - I have had a pair 3 months and the sole is seperating for the upper? I am taking them back. Maybe a fluke. I never had any problem with others I owned.

Just to let you all know, I have a pair of DM sandals, along with these 8845 boots. I owned and wore my sandals for an entire Summer when the sole on one came unstitched. Not thinking anything could come of it, I contacted DM via email. They gave me their address and I returned the sandals. Within 10 days, I was shipped a brand new pair! Their Cust. Service went way beyond expectations. I am a loyal customer for life.

I already have an old pair of these, my girlfriend liked those enough to get me a second. I love Docs. I actually have about 6 pair of steel toe Docs that I wear right now. These were supposed to be the EXACT same shoe that I already had, but they don't feel the same at all. They seem to be much larger than the sized marked. I had to put an insole in them just to make them feel sort of like the broke in pair. I still love the boot and the price. I think we saved $25 by purchasing them online.

I am a 15-year wearer of Doc Marten’s shoes and boots and I swear by their comfort and durability. I bought a pair of model 8855 and with the first pair, the sole separated on the side in two places only a few months after purchasing them. Sent them back and received a brand new pair, same model. Last week, I just noticed this happening again and I have no idea why. I wear them everyday for work and do not abuse them. Only thing I can think of is this new sole design. Never had a problem with the flat or commando style sole. Other then this happening, Dr. Martens are truly foot joy.

Not so pleased - When you look at these shoes online they appear darker and that is what I thought I was getting. When I received them they were lighter than I expected. Also, These shoes feel a little larger all around and my foot seems to move a bit. I have tried the next lower size and it is too small. I wish Dr. Marten's had half sizes. I think an 11.5 would fit me perfectly. Overall I do like this shoe.

They're a good looking shoe. The best steel toe I ever had, although one shoe is ripping out after 16 months. They scuff pretty easy for a shoe intended for an industrial environments. This shoe should be offered in black.
