Comfy and cute shoe! These shoes are great. The pic does not do the shoe justice. It is a soft leather and very comfortable. At the same time, it is sexy with the ankle straps and can dress up any outfit! Gotta have!

Color is more ivory than white - I ordered these to see if they would go with my ultra-white wedding dress and they definitely were more ivory in color. It is hard to judge the actual color from the website. They were super cute though, the patent reminded me of shoes I had when I was a little girl. I would order these again in another color to wear out casually...Just not white enough for my white wedding!

Very different look for a flat. I like the toe. I like the ankle. It's easy to wear and quite comfortable on my wide feet. I got the red and think it's fun.

I love the look of this shoe! I chose it over similar styles (all flats) and it is so cute. Unfortunately, it is not all that comfortable, they arrived today, and I think they're a tiny bit small, but my feet are a bit weird- flat arch, narrow heel, wide at the ball. I am debating exchanging for a) same size but wide width (which might leave room for an insert?) b) a half-size larger. I am also debating exchanging for another style, or keeping these only for situations where my weird feet need to look extremely hot but do not involve walking for more than 5-10 minutes total. With these shoes on, I feel like I want to dress like Laura Petrie and jete around the living room, auditioning for Alan Brady or Mel Cooley. But darn, even after just 5 minutes walking around the house, I had marks on the top of my big toe, where the top is digging in on account of my foot width there. I don't think they're too small- when I sit down and dangle my foot to maximize the sexiness, there's even some toe cleavage. I love them so much I think I'm going to keep them, just for fun. Bottom line: The straps are elasticized, so these would be a breeze at the airport. They are cute as heck. So cute. But don't think you're going to be comfortable walking in these, even if you have a decent arch of your own. Not gonna happen. But darn, they're adorable and sexy. Sitting at a party showing two cleavage shoes. Jete around the living room for 2 minutes max shoes. Play out fantasies of being Laura Petrie shoes.

How do you put them on?? I loved the shoes when I took them out of the box. But then the problems started: they are very hard to slip on because of the straps. I don't have large feet or ankles or anything, but you will find it hard and annoying to put on. The straps look and feel very flimsy, and if you pull too hard you feel like they will snap. When I finally put them on, they looked too small. I have to return them. I cannot tell how comfortable they are, because I never wore them (except for trying them).

My little red shiny shoes - I love these shoes and so does everyone else. I get so many compliments when I'm wearing them. Surprisingly, they are quite easy to wear with a lot of my clothes. I thought it would be more difficult to "not go overboard" with my outfits with them, however my clothes are understated, for the most part, and so the outfits tend to work. Thanks.

Subtly sexy - Great fit, not cut too much in the front--just a little toe cleavage--many compliments for these.

Wonderful - I wore it all day the FIRST day and was completely comfortable with no pinching! The strap keeps it on well and it's very attractive. Having read the previous reviews I bought a size 8 instead of my usual 7.5 and that was definitely the right way to go. Cute with pants or skirts, I'll be getting lots of wear out of this shoe!

Most comfortable dress shoes - These shoes are beautiful. They are very soft leather, are very comfortable, look great with a dress or a pair of jeans. I am a true size 9 medium and they fit perfect. I highly recommend them.

Like a ballet slipper - Very comfortable, snug fit, like a ballet slipper, although not a lot of support and the straps feel tight at the end of a long day. The look is appropriate for both slacks and skirts. Great shoe for the price, too.

'Wore these for 13 years. You can't buy these in stores anymore since Reebok bought Rockport. This is the only place I found to buy them! I have worn these for 13 years. They last me about 2 years each(alternating with other Rockports).

Comfort. I have a bad left foot (broken as a teenager) and this is the only daily-wear shoe I have found that is very comfortable and looks good.

Great Shoe. I had my right foot & ankle fused about 8 years ago. This shoe and an SAS model have been the only shoes I've tried that are comfortable and handle custom orthodics well. The Rockport is a much better looking shoe than the SAS and has been my shoe of choice for the past 3 years.

Got foot problems. If you have any foot, ankle, knee or hip problems. This shoe will be a pleasure to wear. It really helps propel the body. But, the older "Pro Walker" is even better (if you can find it). The new Pro Walkers are lighter and may not hold up. I'm on my feet about 9 hrs a day with no problems. They're a bit oversized and handle orthotics very well.

They tight! Man, these Rockports are so tight! I brought them when I bought this leather Ecko sweater. They look and feel alright. I like the way the leather feels. Rockport snapped when they made these!

No nonsence. This pair of shoes are on thier way to being the best ever,it takes a little while for things to settle, but I,ve had these going on 3 weeks and they are tops in comfort and look pretty snappy with everything from jeans to casual wear a real winner.

"It's better to look good than to feel good". Shoe is constructed like an athletic shoe with lots of adhesive and heat sealing to reduce cost. The saying "Its better to look good, than to feel good" really applies to this Rockport. Toe box tapers sharply, not enough room to be really comfortable in. The padded collar is soft, but after a while, begins to rub and give me hot spots. This Rockport is good to rotate with more expensive shoes during the week, or to travel in so your not concerned about excessive wear on your good shoes. Based on the construction methods, service life if questionable. Recommend a more robustly constructed shoe like a Timberland or a pair of Borns'.
