My 8-year-old son loves these shoes. We initially ordered them in brown to be his "indoor shoes" at school. He liked them so much; we ordered the black ones too to keep at home. He reports that they are so "cozy and comfy." He has a very high instep, so slip-on styles usually don't work for him because they are too tight across the top of his foot. These worked great.

This bag began to unravel itself within the first month of use. The plastic piping kept poking out and eventually I had to take it out. It arrived full of scratches, but I kept it anyhow, since it was supposedly the last one and was the size and color I wanted. I love the style, but the quality was way below that of other Frye products I have purchased.
