Check out the Ugg Byrnes instead - I have a few complaints about these shoes, which I am returning. The soles are really thick and look clunky. The soles also squeak badly on hard flooring. They seem a bit wide though overall they seemed pretty comfortable for the short time I had them on.

Comfortable but cracked - Fit was perfect and very comfortable out of the box. I have worn them for a year in summer and winter. However the soles have cracked, roughly where the ball of my foot is. The elastic shows signs of failure. I have less comfortable shoes that have lasted me years, but that they only last a year and have to be replaced for the money is a little tough to take.

Sole keeps cracking - I bought two pairs and the sole cracked on each. Prior to that they were great, but I would not buy again.

Excellent Shoe - This is my second pair of Born Seneca. Great shoe for the money. Very comfortable and durable. I now have a bad weather pair and nice weather pair. If you have a wide foot or high instep, get a 1/2 or full size larger than normal.

My current favorite dress casuals - Comfortable and easy to slip on, but not loose once on your foot. These seem well made, with only mild tread wear after one year wearing 2-3 days per week. Good for walking, they seem to breathe better than my lace up shoes.

Comfort can't be beat - If you do any amount of walking these are great. Born shoes give amazing support. The level of comfort using the shoes is not to be believed.

Born Seneca - My husband LOVES the Born Seneca’s. He works in management and many of his co-workers have commented on them and absolutely admire them. They were a little hard to get on at first, but they are beginning to stretch as he wears them more.

They are squishy. First things first. These shoes are VERY comfortable. Now to the bad news. Mine make a squishy noise when I walk. I actually returned the first pair because of it. When the second pair exhibited the same behavior, I have to assume that they are supposed to do that?

Super Comfortable - All over great shoes. They do run a bit small and I needed to order a full size larger than I normally take. Once I sized up the shoe was extremely comfortable and supportive. One other thing to note is the brown is very dark and almost appears black.

Most comfortable shoe I've ever owned - I bought this shoe based on a recommendation, and I couldn't be more happy with it. The arch support is excellent, and when I take them off I still feel my arch rising. I've been wearing the shoes about 4 days of the week to work for the past three weeks. Overall it is a supple leather slip-on. There is no real heel to speak of, which makes it a bit of a stretch in my office environment, but I am still wearing them to the office. What isn't quite as clear is that the stitching is brown. I'd prefer black stitching, but it is barely noticeable. Having the shoe convinced me to stick with Born as the brand I'll purchase (likely exclusively) from now on.

Bring on the snow! I bought this item for a Christmas gift. He Hasn't had a chance to wear, no snow yet. But if we have a winter like last year, they will get a true test. I would like to comment on warmth then. But, I really don't have any doubts.

Best shoe or boot ever.... I saw these online, and said to myself, "now that looks like a serious snow boot". After freezing my toes off in my Docs last winter while working outside in the snow, I decieded to give these a wirl. The first time I put my foot in them, I felt like my feet were surrounded by a toaster oven made of foam. I know that sounds weird, but thats the best I can describe it. I never want to take these boots off. They are warm as anything and it feels like you are walking on air.

Terrific Snow Boot, Terrific Customer Service - After nearly getting frost bite from shoveling snow for two days in old boots, I ordered these Sorel's on a Sunday night. The shipping was upgraded by Zappos from 5 day to overnight at no charge to me and they arrived Tuesday morning. Great boot, greater shoe/boot store.

Had To Have Them - I arrived here in Barrow AK about a month ago. I came prepared, I thought, with a pair of Sorel Caribou boots. They had served me well in Juneau last year and I felt confident they would continue to serve me well. The first time I spent an hour outside with the temp well below zero and the wind howling it became apparant that more boot was needed. I purchased the Glacier for $140.00 from a local store and have been completely satisfied with their performance and comfort. I found that taking the added intersole out of the liner and putting it underneath gives me more room for my foot inside he liner itself. Sorel is a great boot and the Glacier is the warmest of the lot. I normally wear a size twelve. Only thirteen was available. I'm glad I got the larger size, as they seem to fit perfectly. They're lighter than they would appear to be for their size.

Extreme Snow Boots - We've had two storms up here so far and these boots kept me nice and warm during snow removal. Size seems to me to be a little larger than actual. Two pairs of socks fixed that problem. I like them.

Awesome Winter Boot - Best Winter Boot Ever!!! Rugged, excellent tread for all types of snow and ice. One of the best features is the height of this boot, nice and tall keeping your entire lower leg/calf warm, and enables you to walk through deep snow. The shiny rubber is flexible allowing for great comfort while walking. You can go anywhere in this boot. When I walk down the street people look at my big Sorel boots. I've gotten some comments on how huge this boot looks, but I like that about them. When I slip these boots on my foot and leg are encased in instant warmth, and they hold up to the extreme temperatures. Extremely comfortable, won't want to take them off my happy feet when spring comes. It really is like walking on air, and in the snow...its even better.

A warm boot - A half size between would have been nice. Very warm boot. Not pretty, big and bulky, but effective.

Polar bears would be jealous. I bought these boots about six years ago (around 1998) and have used them in several snowstorms - both in Flagstaff, AZ and in Colorado. Weather at -20F doesn't even phase them. Start out with warm feet and they'll STAY warm. True, these are big boots, but compared to the alternative of getting caught in a blizzard and getting frostbite makes them all the more attractive. Especially considering how comfortable they are - makes walking around in deep snow easy - almost feels like they're "air cusioned". You'll always find a pair of these boots in my closet.

Snow boat - I work for the rail road over donner summit. Durring the winter I help keep the pass open by working snow service for the union pacific R.R. These boots are the best ones that I have used to this day. They keep my feet very warm, very confortable, and they have a very big foot print to keep you from sinking in to far in to rhe snow, I am very happy with them. THANK YOU!!!!

The Bomb! These boots are awesome! I got them last week, shoveled outside for hours and all the while it felt like I had my feet resting next to the fireplace. I ordered a pair for my husband as well and he is equally impressed. We both ordered one size larger than we normally wear and are glad we did. The only run about 1/2 small, but I'd rather have them 1/2 too big than a 1/2 size too small! They are a little awkward to get around in at first, but I rather wear them and be warm (even if it means looking like a goofball!) These boots were worth every penny.
