I, like some of the other reviewers, live in my
flip flops whenever possible. Unfortunately, nearly all
flip flops have terrible support. Contrary to popular belief, it's not tons and tons of cushioning that yields a comfortable
flip flop, it's anatomic and ergonomic support that doesn't wear out and collapse over time. These
flip flops have excellent
arch support and have a good clean look. I'm a runner with a high arch to my foot so I'm very particular about footwear. I can comfortably walk several miles in these with no perceptible fatigue. If you visit
Chaco's web site, you will find that you can resole your
flip flops when the sole wears out...NOT the support structure. They claim that the support on the
flip flop will not wear out over time! How about that...ever heard of a
flip flop you can resole? Go for it! I used to wear The Walking Company
sandals until they discontinued them,
Chaco's are way better. They took a few days to break in, but after that...it's all good!
