This is now my son's second pair of etnies (but his first lace-up) and he loves them. His etnies are always the first shoes he pulls out of his closet when we're going outside.

A very nice toddler shoe. We bought the gray dinosaur print for our three year old and he thinks they are really cool. The inside is cushiony, but not too bulky. Plus, there is plenty of flex for young feet. These are perfect for active little boys.

Another winner from Arche. The shoe is very comfortable and it is rare to find a sandal in navy from Arche. The heel is just right, neither too high nor too low. It looks a lot better on the foot than I expected and am sure I will wear it until it falls apart - and that means a long time because these shoes are really made to last.

Arche shoes are extremely comfortable and durable. Although they are costly they are very durable. I have been wearing them for years.

These shoes are beautiful. I bought them in the "lin" (beige) color. They are more delicate and sophisticated than they appear in the photo, suitable for dressing up or wearing with casual clothes: very versatile. This is my second pair of Arche shoes. I have worn my other pair more than 100 times (on NYC streets): the soles still look brand new, and the uppers just need to be cleaned now and then. The quality of Arche shoes is outstanding. It's rare that I think something is worth the hefty price tag. Arche shoes are worth it, even if you can only afford one pair every year or so (like me!). From now on, these may be the only brand of shoes I ever buy -- they're really that good.

My latest purchase from Zappos was the Arche Orca in a lovely linen color for summer. Last year I bought the same shoe in an orange color, and would probably buy it in even more colors if it were offered. I absolutely love Arche shoes since at this time in my life I want to walk on something very comfortable and soft. But the great thing is these shoes are very "French" and stylish. I am delighted to have this large selection of Arche shoes from my very favorite shoe store in the world.

If you are looking for a not too high shoe, this one is smart looking and comfortable as most Arche shoes are. Runs true to size. Great for warm weather sightseeing with skirts or jeans!

Updating my previous review, which was posted on March 16, 2010. This shoe has been a huge disappointment. It's now August, and it has already fallen apart (I wear them once a week). The entire rubber sole keeps coming loose, and I have had to have it glued back on (twice) -- and it's coming apart again. The shoe is poorly designed; I have tripped more than once over the toe, where the rubber hangs out too far (thus pulling it away from the bottom of the shoe). Also, the beige suede fabric now looks terrible, despite my good care. No way I could wear these shoes anyplace dressed up. I have been so happy with my other Arche shoes, but they have a solid rubber sole/heel, unlike these. Also, the quality of the material seems better on my older shoes. Not sure if I will trust Arche after this pair. Maybe if I can find other styles with a solid rubber heel instead of one that is thin and glued on. Sad, as they were my "go to" brand for one new pair of shoes each year.
