I've waited 40 years for ZAPPOS advice & what a difference! I love, love, love my new shoes. I have had so many problems with my feet & shoes all my life. I've tried all brands, prices, cushioning, types of shoes & inserts - you name it - I've done it... I've had numerous surgeries, too. Having bought many shoes, even from Zappos, for severe overpronation & super cushioning, my feet still hurt badly by the end of the day. Even the doctors never told me what Zappos told me! I finally called the 24-hour help line at Zappos and told the gentleman that I walk on the outside of my feet & all I see are shoes for overpronation. He kindly took me right to the links for underpronation explaining to me that this was the least common foot type, but that they had shoes for this. He explained that I actually am best suited for Neutral Cushioning shoes that DO NOT have a stability device... Well, I love, love, love these new shoes and am going to buy more in this category. I love, love, love Zappos and tell everyone I meet about Zappos... friends, family, and most folks that come to my bed & breakfast... Thank you so very much. Margie from Hillsdale, NY

Great shoe - I really like this shoe. There is a LOT of cushioning! I had trouble finding a really well-cushioned shoe for a NEUTRAL runner/walker. Finally this one fits my needs. Was a little afraid of the cranberry/silver color when ordering, but I actually like it "in person". I ordered in WIDE because of post-surgical toe bed needs, but the width is probably fine for an average foot. I put orthotic arch supports in which is one of the advantages of NB shoes because their insoles can be removed making room for your own.

NBWR882 - great! Love the comfort - it's so cushy. The last is wide in the toes and narrower in the heel which is just what I want. I love that it has reflectors on all sides. I wish it were blue because I always wear jeans, but it doesn't matter that much. I wear orthotics - thin ones - and it feels great with them.

Just the right shoe! My podiatrist recommended these, in particular the New Balance 882. He couldn't have been more right. I have VERY flat feet and after wearing these with a PowerStep orthotic for a week, my feet have finally stopped hurting. Great fit and support; I wear them all the time.

New Balance does it again! I just love New Balance shoes. I wear only NB for tennis and I needed a good pair of running/walking shoes for other times. I last bought Asics Gel Kayano but they were still a bit narrow for me, even though I had bought them in wide. This is a terrific shoe, actually made for the woman who has WIDE feet and wears orthotics! Very well-designed and comfortable shoe.

Roomy toe box - This is an excellent shoe for feet that are not pointed. The toe box is roomy and doesn't push the toes into an unnatural pointed position. There is also a good amount of vertical space to accommodate the toes without pressing down on them. There is also plenty of cushioning and support for the sole of the foot.

Great shoes! After New Balance discontinued the 880s, I thought I would never find another comfortable running shoe. This is great! Glad I found it.

Nice shoe - I have been in New Balance for years; recently veered away into Ryka. What a mistake. My Plantar Fasciitis flared up after a few months in Ryka. Am back to my trusted New Balance. These are the best shoes for me. I have wide feet and need orthotics. With this shoe I was able to take them out of the box and hit the ground "walking". No need to break them in. Another nice feature is the mesh inserts it cools my feet down. I also have to add Zappos rocks...ordered these on Monday and had them on my doorstep Tuesday afternoon. Way to go!!!

Super sneaks! I love these sneakers. I have always been a New Balance fan anyway, but these are just perfect. I had no "break-in" period at all with these...they were comfy right from the get-go. Moderate arch support, beefed-up outside edge support...just what I needed. The only thing I was somewhat surprised by was the very constructed toe...but it's actually great because it keeps the shape of the toe box firm and gives your toes plenty of room to do their thing. All the information Zappos provides about the shoes themselves really helped me get the perfect pair the very first time. I will definitely be back for more!

Good looking shoe that is comfortable for problem feet. It has taken me several orders to find the comfortable and good looking shoe for my problem feet. I have a bunion on my left foot and my right foot is 4 months post bunionectomy surgery and still recovering and sensitive to pressure and walking. New Balance WR882 is "The Shoe," it has cranberry and silver trim with white mesh that is jazzy looking and comfortable. The toe box is rounded and roomy and does not put pressure on any of my toes, which is very important to me. The shoe has good support and is well cushioned; my narrow heel fits well in this shoe. I wish there were many colors to choose from in this style, I would purchase another pair. My daughter told me about Zappos and suggested I try ordering on line. She was right in her praise of Zappos. I now love Zappos, they are the best.

Old woman shoes could be a bit more padded - These shoes really do look like something an older woman would wear. I bought these shoes for work because I'm a waitress and I need black shoes to work in. Although these shoes say they are walking shoes they could be more padded. I didn't get any blisters from them but my feet ached a little bit after 9 hours of standing/walking around. However, I ordered a bunch of other black shoes and this one was the most comfortable. Be aware of how they look though!

Great Shoes! It's a joy to find a pair of shoes properly sized, comfortable, and made in the USA! I'm tempted to buy another pair, now that they've come out with a velcro closure, just to get through airport security faster. . .

New Balance 811 shoe - I wore the WW810 shoe last year to teach in since I am on my feet and walking all day. I had been having trouble with my left arch, knee (that I injured skiing years ago), and hip. When I started wearing the 810, my arch felt much better, and my hip quit hurting. I just got the WW811's to replace the 810's. The New Balance store had told me that the 811's were their updated 810's. I haven't had a chance to wear them yet (saving them for the new school year), but I can tell you that they should be as comfortable and helpful as the 810's are. I will never go back to another kind of sport shoe.

Shoe Review - The shoe is comfortable, no break in period required, and supportive. Would like to see it with velcro closure instead of laces.

Comfortable walking shoe for people with bunions - I have bunions and therefore need a wider shoe in the front, but not in the back. This was very comfortable and I was still able to cinch the laces tight enough at the top to make a snug fit. It is the most comfortable walking shoe I have worn in a long time!

Fantastic Walking Shoes - As someone who need correction for pronation, I checked out all the brands of walking shoes that would be appropriate...these shoes are just great. They are very comfortable, extremely well made, very attractive for this type of shoe, and really do the job.

A Comfortable Shoe - This shoe is lighter in weight than another style of New Balance that I had previously purchased. Comes in the very wide width that I need, but isn't as bulky in appearance or feel. My podiatrist has suggested New Balance in a style 900 or higher. Decided to try this pair in an 800 series. Actually like this pair better...not quite as ugly and not as heavy as the 900s.

Great for Narrow Feet! I have narrow feet, especially in the heels, and it's always difficult to find shoes that fit. When the heels are narrow enough, usually my toes and uncomfortably squeezed. These shoes are terrific for feet like mine--they're narrow in the heels (in the AA size) but wide enough in the front. I can wiggle my toes again! The lacing system also helps--there is a double eyelet at the top for cross-over lacing, and it's even reinforced with plastic so it won't tear (Even some other New Balance shoes don't have that feature). I love these shoes! I tried the 810, but they weren't as comfortable (I got cramps in my arches after standing a long time) so there is some difference between the two models.

Very Comfortable - This shoe needed no "breaking in" period. It's a sturdy walking shoe. The only problem I have with it is that I have a wide foot and narrow heel, and have trouble with all walking shoes (stepping out of them slightly). This was my first Zappos order and I'm thrilled to find an online shoe source that ships quickly to my overseas posting in Italy.
