Oh please last more than a year! As the title of this commentary might suggest, buying any shoe is an enormous challenge for me and my feet, and to find a shoe that purports to be vegan, well, good luck all the same. I bought these Macbeth Manchester’s to replace a well-loved and nearly disintegrated pair of Macbeth Eliot’s from last summer. I wore a 9 mens in the Eliot and found that I take a 9.5 in the Manchester. Who knew? I expect that these sneakers will break in quite nicely and was VERY happy to see that they are made much sturdier than the Eliot- there are two layers of fabric: one outer herringbone and the inner is like a slacks-weight fabric in the same color- hopefully these will last me more than 6 months before separating from the sole. Also, I am not sure why the laces are each over 5 feet long, but hey, if I ever need some rope, I can just borrow from my shoes! Thank you, Mister Macbeth! Oh yeah, same great return service from Zappos, as usual!

Black Manchester Macbeths - I have a basically brand new pair of Macbeth Manchester’s (black) at home and they're a very light weighted comfortable shoe unless your going out to do a lot of walking in them then I suggest a different pair of shoes; cuz i wore my Manchester’s to Warped Tour and I walked around a lot in them and the back of my heel was all red and worn out and hurt really bad cuz there isn’t much padding in the back of the shoe to support your feet. I also had been running around in them too and going crazy jumping up and down so try and stay away from that also. Very good shoe otherwise. The shoe is designed to look good and for using when you go out on a date or just hanging out with friends or something but walking around in them a lot and going on hikes or long walks leave them at home trust me. Thanks.

Manchester equals heaven - This shoe is great, everything about it is amazing, awesome vegan shoe that will last you long with a great arch that makes it easy and simple to walk and while you are walking, you can walk in style!

Attractive and comfortable enough but not durable - These shoes are very comfortable and felt broken-in from day one. Unfortunately, after a couple of months of normal wear, there is a hole near the toe of the left shoe! I have never owned a shoe which tore after so little wear! The shoe has never even been used for any kind of athletic activity but only for walking. It's too bad as they are very nice looking shoes.

Rieker 16178 - Very comfortable -would like this shoe with leather soles. I do not see any leather soled sandals in your web site. Do you have any? Rieker did make them and I bought them many times in Germany -last in 1997.

This shoe looked even better in person. I have been looking for a summer shoe like this in black. The fit is a liitle small and tight I would recommend ordering a larger size.

Rieker's 16178 - A great shoe, but I found the Mahogany color in the picture on the web site does not match the color received. Order a size larger then you normally wear, you'll be glad you did.

Rieker loafer - I discovered Rieker shoes during a trip to Germany and have bought no other loafer since. It is lightweight and comfortable, good looking and reasonably priced.
