Good for cold, bad for work -
I work on a drilling rig in Utah. This winter I bought a pair of these
boots in hopes that I would stay warm, and thankfully, I did. But after the first week I had found the down side to them. These
boots have absolutely no traction on any surface other than traction grating. Working the floor was quite a challenge, trying to stay in one spot on the steel. Overall a good boot as long as you don't work on steel plates. The traction got even worse when they got wet. On the other hand, anyone who does a lot of walking during work will love this boot, the first time I put them on, they were a little tight, but even after the insulation stretched, it felt like walking on air, they are very comfortable, even though I was on my feet for 12 hours a day, seven days at a time!
