Worn to the ground - My husband sneered at "comfort sandals" until I got him a pair of Normans for his birthday...in 1996. The minute he gets home from work, he puts them on and they're on his feet all weekend long. He actually wore out the toes, but wouldn't part with the shoes long enough to get them repaired. A terrific shoe, at a cost per wear of less than a nickel a day!

Joe - The shoes are great, the most comfortable shoe I own.

I usually wear a men's 10-1/2 D closed shoe and a 10 in open sandals. The Euro size 44 Mephisto Norman I purchased is supposed to be a 10, but it is unusually large and it feels more like an 11-1/2 or larger. I have been wearing them barefoot, but I think I will be adding socks soon, since the leather remains a bit hard and is not softening up. The width feels more normal, although I have both straps buckled on the last holes. I did not return them for a size exchange because I started wearing them, hoping to get used to them. On the plus side, the back leg of my jeans doesn't get pulled under my heel anymore apparently due to the extra length in back of the sandal.
