The Grammys -
There were three days left before I was to venture west to Los Angeles to attend the Grammy Awards as a guest and I had no shoes. I'm a last-minute-kind-of-guy. Zappos in concert with..., "ask what brown can do for you?" were all over it and had my
Mezlan Operas at my door the very next day and at a great price.
Into the
luggage they went and we did not see each other again until I suited up for the events. On they went and off we went to the first event to commence at twelve noon. Hours went by. Red carpets, pre-televised awards, televised awards, Grammy celebration, more red carpets, lots and lots of walking, Beverly Hills after party w/ dancing, after after party with more carrying on and finally back to the hotel at six o'clock the next morning without any aches, blisters, hot spots or otherwise, only good feeling feet with over inflated egos from receiving so many compliments. Now one might think it poor planning to break in a fresh pair of shoes with an itinerary like that but I am here bare testimony to the fact that it can be done, but for me, it's got to be
Mezlan..., or you may suffer grave E. Marcos like consequences.
If I had one wish, it would have been that my head could feel as good as my feet did later that morning when I was reminded by my rather efficient brother that check out time was near. Never forget that Zappos is there when you need them the most. There is no better feeling, except of course if Zappos had kind enough to send along some advil to counter the effects associated with a few too many martinis. I am sure they would have if it were not for all of the rules and regulations in our litigious society. By the way, enjoy your day.
