Love them! They're the same boots I wore to death in the 1990s, but with better cushioning in the sole. I wore my old pair so long I must have forgotten about the killer pain of breaking them in. Don't do what I did in your excitement to get your feet in them. Take the time to slowly break them in. Your heels and lower calves will thank you.

Everything was perfect! The product arrived in the time estimated, in perfect condition, and it was just what I was expecting. The shoes are fantastic! The color exactly how it looked like in the picture. Love them!

Commit to breaking these in - Have already worn these a few times. Like how they look, but boy are they stiff. By the end of the day my feet feel kind of numb. I suspect these will take a year to break in fully, but I'm up for the commitment. The plus side is they will probably last 10 years. The blue is a little more subdued than shown on my computer monitor, but still nice.

I ordered these boots after realizing sadly that the very old Dr. Martens that I used to wear were now too small after having kids. Since I've gone up a size after having my two kids that's the perfect excuse for buying new shoes I guess. Anyway, the old boots, which I've had forever, were worn down and too tight. The new boots, which I ordered in a size 11, arrived overnight and as soon as I put them on I was happy, the leather is softer than my old boots, even after so many years of wear. They go up higher as well, my old boots stopped at my ankle, these go up a bit higher past my ankle, which I love the look of. They are softer, more flexible when I walk, which will probably make the break in period easier. You still have to break in ALL Dr. Martens, I think, even if the leather is advertised as softer. But there will be a lot less tears with breaking in the Nappa Leather. I'm very pleased with these boots.

Dr. Martens's Classics 1460 W-8 Eye Boot - These shoes are super comfortable as well as stylish. Required no breaking in, the Napa Leather was soft already. Seems good quality and durable. I am usually an 8 1/2 American and I ordered an 8, which fits perfectly.
