I bought these at a Macy's when I was in Hawaii, because I ruined my shoes in a hike. The moment I put my feet in these it felt right, and it's been right ever since. There is absolutely no break-in, it feels so soft and comfy, yet offers so much support and protection. Very lightweight, and undetering in full range of motion. My only (very minor) complaint is how slippery the laces are, but an extra knot takes care of it. I've worn them every other day for a year, it still looks very clean and new. Worth every penny!

I am a personal trainer and work in the shoe all day long. My feet, legs, and body do not feel tired at the end of a long day. Very comfortable and I receive many compliments on the way it looks.

I love these shoes. They are light weight to begin with and when I remove the insoles and run it is almost like I am running barefoot. Of course since these are the shoes I prefer to all others New Balance has decided to discontinue them. If you can find some in your size stock up!

Good cushioning effect for off-trail use, city walking, gym or travel. I think they are the early version of the lightweight trail runners, not as fashionable as later models, but as convenient, and the only one of off-trail NB line that I could find that was all black.

I\'ve owned 3 pairs of these shoes and love them! They are extremely light weight, and I use them for cardio, weight lifting, and everything in-between!

I love these shoes. They are comfortable, stylish, and come in great color choices. I have 3 pairs in different colors. Plus, Zappos gets them to me in 24 hours! Zappos rocks!

This is my second pair of NB WA790 and they are just great. They are so light you hardly know that you have them on. They also have enough support to make your feet feel comfortable when walking. I would recommend them to anybody.

I have narrow feet, but with bunions (bunionettes) on the outsides of both feet. So, I need very wide toe box but narrow heel. I bought these in 9.5 wide and they fit perfectly! I'm not a runner, but I've walked 10 miles at a time in them without problems. They work well for exercise classes, too, because they are lightweight. And they are really cute; make my feet seem much smaller, too.

As good as sneakers get. I am someone who really dosn't like sneakers but these are a good compromise when I need to wear them for work. They are kind of snug to the foot and shaped so that they don't make me feel like I'm wearing big clunky gym class shoes. They are very light and comfortable. I have the brown ones and they are especially good because the tred and sole are not white which adds to the less-sneakery appeal. New Balance are always a half size small for me.

Love these shoes. This is my third pair. I have very high arches/instep. These shoes offer support and style. I especially like the low profile and level foot bed.
