Awesome - I work in a hair salon and am on my feet all day (10 to 12 hrs.) and these are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.

Squeaky - very squeaky - Loved my summer Keens-Wanted the comfortable fit into the winter. Bought the Boston - Not nearly the comfort I had expected. The real problem is that shoes SQUEEK - every step. I changed innersoles, lined shoe bed w/ other materials between the bottom and side of the inner shoe - SQEAK, squeak, squeak. Like the wide toe box and the overall look - well designed for wet weather - Just disappointed with the noise, every step.

Boston 11 - These are one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. I would recommend then to anyone that likes room in the toe area of a shoe. What more can I say, comfort, they look great and delivery was quick. I will buy another pair of Keens and order them from Zappos. Thanks Brenda

Not as expected but super fast shipping made it worthwhile - Was very encouraged after reading the positive reviews of the Keen Boston II. However, the ankle support (or maybe it was this particular pair) kept digging into my Achilles’ tendon, and my feet are actually quite skinny, so it was not a case of a fat foot squeezing into a small shoe. I bought half a size up. The size was alright but the fit, with that awful ankle support made it rather uncomfortable to walk in this shoe. Had to return it. But Zappos super fast shipping and returns makes the whole experience worthwhile. Will buy from Zappos again!

Not for a high instep - Ordered this shoe and had to return it, although it looks lovely. Could not get my foot into the shoe. I have a moderately high instep and the way this is cut, I could not get it on even without socks. :(

Not enough cushion - These shoes are super cute, but they aren't that comfortable. There seems to be less anatomical support than in other Keen shoes (e.g. Bronx), and the footbed doesn't seem as cushioned. The upper edge of the shoe is also a little stiff, so it tends to cut/rub a little around my Achilles tendon. I kept the shoes, but I know that I can't plan on walking long distances in them.

Keen Boston II - I found the Keen II to be very comfortable and lightweight. I was just as pleased with this Keen shoe as I was with my sandals over the summer. I do recommend ordering a half size larger.

Looking for comfort - The Keen Boston 11 is not as comfortable as the Keen Boston I purchased in 2004. The inside support is not comparable and the shoe runs slightly shorter. The look is very nice, however, the inside should be made as the original Keen Boston. Also there is a definite squeak when walking. The service at Zappos was superb. I'd recommend Zappos to anyone looking for shoes.

Keen Boston II - Very comfortable right off the bat. Felt true to size and width. I bought these shoes for a trip and walked alot the first day. Not too bad for breaking a new shoe in.

Hot Chef - I want to first say that Zappo's the GREATEST! These Dansko's are amazing. As a professional Chef I am always on my feet. The feel, style and most importantly the support of the shoe is first class. For walking or in the work place this Dansko is the one you want to be wearing!

Very comfortable! Had read about these shoes as the choice of chefs (and others on their feet all day), and have not been disappointed. I have flat feet, and the arch support in these is the best of any shoe/sneaker I have tried. And they look just like the ones my mom wore in the 1970s.

The Perfect Fit! I am in Culinary school as well as work in catering. I used to wear non-slip work boots because the thought of wearing clogs seemed unmanly, but the long hours on my feet and the hunching over the stove and counters were taking a toll on my knees and back. I reluctantly took the advice of my professors and coworkers and tried on a pair of Dansko clogs at a local shop. What comfort! I have a wide, large foot which can be difficult to find shoes for, but these fit perfectly without my foot slipping or feeling cramped. The shop didn't have the color I needed, so I ordered through Zappos and they arrived within days, even during the week before Christmas. What service and the shoe fit exactly like it did in the shop. These shoes have been awesome and have saved my back and knees!

Purchased for a gift - These shoes were purchased as a gift for a medical student who is getting ready to being his rotations. Dansko was recommended to him by classmates as the best, most comfortable on the market. He is very pleased.

Nice clogs for casual business. Nice, comfortable clogs, suitable for Saturday errands or casual business meetings. Feel best if worn with a thicker sock. Great for passing through airport security. Follow the advice for sizing down, these are made to European sizes that feel slightly larger to me than the US equivilents given.

A good-looking shoe, very comfortable from the start, with or without socks. I'm very pleased. They do run small, though. I needed a full size larger than usual.

Great shoes - I'm a medical student going into surgery and decided to finally spend the money and get quality shoes. I'm on my feet 10-12 hours a day in the OR. These are great shoes, very comfortable. I used to get pain in my calves and my lower back with other shoes which I don't get from these. I was trying to decide between these and the Dansko professionals, but I wanted to be able to slip these on or off. It is difficult to walk backwards in these and sometimes they do feel like they are falling off when walking. But overall I'm happy I chose the Karl over the professional. Zappos is awesome--I ordered the wrong size and the return process couldn't have been easier. Plus they upgraded my shipping to overnight for free both times. A piece of advice--think about buying a size larger and putting in a gel insole because the bottoms of my feet tend to hurt after standing for a long time.

Danskos Karl - For about 4 years now I have been wearing Danskos open back clogs and I love em. They feel great and are so easy and comfortable on your feet. They are almost impossible to wear out. They last and last. If it rains, these are the shoes to wear because of the rubber non skid bottom, and also they help to keep your feet dry. I have 5 pairs they are that good and i'm a guy. Danskos are the best no doubt about it, especially in the comfort zone and looks. If you are a guy definitely give these a try. These will replace almost all your other shoes they are so comfortable and longlasting in wear. I have saved a lot of money wearing these clogs over my good leather shoes which require constant maintance and care. Danskos require very little care. I highly recommend them. My wife and kids also love em.
