Okay shoes.
I got a pair of these because I thought they looked classy and the material is solid and good. The shoes are very comfortable, but I was disappointed when, after a couple week of use, the rubber on the side of the shoe (where your toes bend) began to fall apart. It needs a bit more reinforcement. I love these shoes, but it needs to be a bit tougher, considering how much it costs.

Rum runner performance.
Shoes looked very good in the picture, and when I saw their classic, conservative appearance, immediately I decided to get two pairs. After the first couple of weeks of hapiness, I noticed that the rubber band on the side of the shoes came off. The very same happened to the second pair. So, I threw both away. I was dissapointed. I paid $150 for nothing.

Very classic style and comfy. They will wear where the toes bend; this is normal for this type of shoe. Just like the old style low top
vans.

Just ordered my second pair
I've been wearing the first pair for a year now, almost every day, and they're starting to show it, so I just ordered replacements. I've had no problems with them. No nonsense, great look. Wear them with anything. Why aren't more shoes like this?

The best shoe I've found since
Van's disocntinued their ERA style. Only one option would improve this style, a style that eliminates the orange "stripe" and is all-white.

Best shoe I have ever had. Last pair lasted 2 years and going strong. Just wanted a new more presentable looking pair. I use on my sailbaot ever weekend about 40 weeks a year.

Extremely comfortable but not durable -
I've now owned two pair of Rum Runner's. They're the most comfortable shoe I ever owned and they look great.
The only problem is that the rubber seems to separate from the shoe. They're not very durable. Both pair lasted 1 year each.

Just like a glove for my feet -
Very confortable shoes, more than I was expecting. Very soft and fresh...and ready to wear with your classic linen
pants or a nice khaki
shorts. My first par so far, but I am sure it will not be the last one.

This is a very comfortable and well-made
sneaker.
I like the perforated suede, it is cool in 90-95 degree weather.

Almost two inches too big.
I love these shoes I purchased for my husband. He wears a 10.5. These 10.5 shoes have arrived and are almost one and one half inches too big, can't figure it out.
