Great sandals, my first pair lasted over four years and still looked great. Would still be wearing them if the back pull-up strap on one sandal hadn't broken. I normally wear a wide shoe, but he medium sandal fits fine.

This is a great all-purpose shoe. It provides plenty of protection for the foot while still being open and flexible. It can be worn with or without socks in case you're going from warm weather to cold as I often do when traveling to Mexico. This shoe dries thoroughly and quickly if you happen to be wearing it walking through water or into the ocean. Five stars for sure. Only negative: this shoe takes a minute to put on as you can't "slide" into it and then tighten the laces. You've got to use the strap provided to pull the shoe on.

As always, Keens are very comfortable - for hiking - but also for moderate walkers. Great foot support.

I believe this is my third pair of the Keen Newports. I originally purchased them for backpacking and outdoor water use, and have converted them to everyday wear instead. They are comfortable, roomy and breathe well. They aren't the best in water or outside as small stones can easily get stuck up in the toe area, and they are hard to get out without taking them off. They made great travel shoes a few years back when we took them to Europe. They don't wear out very quickly, but it depends what you use them for. I get 3-4 years out of each pair. The foot bed gets more comfortable as they age. I'm glad they still make the leather version, and as long as they do, I will likely keep buying them.

I've had these all summer, and they're great. They're the best sandal-like shoe I've ever owned. They're well made, sturdy and comfortable and can be worn in a wide range of situations. These average-width shoes function quite well despite my narrow foot.
