This was my third buy, services were just as promised with no question, no charge return and money credited to my account rapidly. As for the ones I kept - I'm a Birkenstock girl from way back - love them. For folks new to Birks, wear them in gradually - they might take some getting used to.

They are wonderful. However, the size was just a little bigger then my other size 36 Birkenstock's. Love them.

I was disappointed as the color looked to be a shade of blue in the picture and I was looking for blue. Even though the color states onyx it was confusing as I thought onyx to be black. They were neither blue nor black, but a dark grey silvery color. Since I liked them, I kept them. I have about sixteen pairs of Birkenstocks, mostly Arizonas and Sydney as they are my favorites. I wear them everyday through every season with or without socks. They cured my plantar fasciitis.

Great first Birkenstock sandal! This is my first Birkenstock and I was a little nervous at first to be spending so much, but now I realize it was an investment. At first they felt stiff and heavy, but the more I wore them (after a few hours) the more they felt like they were softening up and almost molding to my feet. I have an average width foot and the regular was perfect. If you wear an 8 - 8 1/2 sandal, then order a 39. Hope this was helpful! Also the antique blue nubuck is really nice. Would probably even go with dressier clothing. It is almost dark gray (great neutral).

Birkenstock Sydney - I just ordered these sandals (in black patent) for my winter house shoes so I can wear socks with them. They are the BEST for support and comfort and love the patent look. They'll be cute outside in the summer too.
