I've owned six pairs of this Florsheim Royal Imperial. The leather is glove soft, and so comfortable that the shoes are almost an addiction.

Very Happy Owner - For 10 years. I've owned a pair of these shoes for over 10 years. I've had the soles and heels replaced numerous times over that of period. I'm now getting ready to get a new pair. 'Would only replace them with the same pair. This is the most comfortable pair of dress shoes I've ever owned.

Pillow Soft. I have owned Imperials since 1988 and wouldn't buy any other brand for everyday business wear. They last for years with resoling and are so comfortable you don't even know they are on.

Florsheim Imperial. I own every color because it's the only shoe to wear for every day business. From the moment you put it on, it fits like a perfect glove. This is 20 years wearing experience of perfect satisfaction.

MBF These aren't what they used to be since they are imported from overseas now.

Great working shoes I have owned a pair of these fine Como Imperials for over a year. I use these shoes for everyday work. I stand on my feet for over 10 hours a day and these shoes offer so much comfort. I do have a problem with wear and tear though. The right shoe has worn out on the right side just above the heel. This is from that area of the shoe touching the car mat every time I drive and put my foot on the accelerator. I am going to see if a shoe repair shop can do something about it. Another problem is that I have not been able to find this find shoe at any of the local stores.

Very pleased - Wear 9-1/2 A. Very difficult to find. Shoes fit perfectly, required no break-in time, and feel great.

Running colors - The shoe is very comfortable. Unfortunately, the color seems to have run out of the leather, especially in the back of the shoe, where scuffs are likely. The shoe also feels like it could fall apart at any time.

I've purchased more than ten of these shoes in the past ten years, so I obviously like this shoe. My main beef is that I've had to glue the gold gizmo and strap back onto nearly every shoe. I would prefer the gold gizmo simply be left off, so I wouldn't have to deal with it.

I have bought numerous pairs of Florsheim Comos Imperials over the past 10 years. I have been happy because they are comfortable, last a long time, and sizing is very consistent. Since production has moved to India, I have had two disappointing pairs. The first had the decorative strap break during the first few months. The second has a label that is attached in the heel area that I can feel through my socks. Earlier shoes had a printed logo. Oh well, all good things must end I guess.
