I picked this helmet for mountain biking mainly because my Lance Armstrong imitator helmet looked ridiculous. It is very comfortable, seems like it would protect in a bad crash, and it looks good.
I bought these for mountain biking after shedding both elbows in crashes. These elbow pads are lightweight and offer great protection and are comfortable. I have not used the knee pads. Great protection for the price.
This is a pretty good helmet for the price. It's a great fit, the white and green colors look pretty awesome, and the foam seems pretty sturdy. I was expecting a little more adjustment capability with the back of the helmet like with POC or BERN helmets, but surprisingly, it fit pretty well right off the bat.
My 9 year old daughter loves this helmet to the point where she often forgets she even has it on! The helmet looks great & fits her comfortably. It's a win-win situation! I highly recommend it!

Here is the weird thing - I have been using these as knee pads for the last six years. They are the best knee pads ever. So, as knee pads I would give them five stars and as elbow pads I would give them zero stars. They are the perfect size for knee pads. I use them to climb El Capitan (about 20 times before they wore out by stretching out). I plan to get a new pair ASAP.
