Feeling is believing... ...this shoe lives up to all the compliments, and then some. Having seriously flat feet, it's hard just finding a shoe that's tolerable... but never in 53 years has a shoe felt so good from the moment I put it on. Also got it in Stone and might buy all the colors, it feels that good. Zappos service continues to amaze and impress... it's what every business should be. THANK YOU!

Made for walking - I work in a big city hospital and am on my feet for 12-14 hrs per day...these shoes are better than any athletic shoe...they are soft...mold to your feet...supportive( I am 250lbs.) at the end of the day my feet may be a little smelly...but they do not hurt nor do my legs.

Perfect shoe - I wear an 8.5B but in most shoes could use a "C" for my toe area, but these fit me beautifully. They have a little less cushion, or support, than other more athletic Privos, but provide enough cushion so that they are comfortable for all day at the office or even shopping. I’m over 50 and some of the natural padding in my feet has diminished so I seek it in my footwear. I never thought I would again be able to wear the "flat" styled shoes that I have always loved, but here it is in the Step. I bought all four colors and can wear them with everything except suits and evening wear. I found the same comfort in the newer Cider style. Privo runs true to size for me with a little extra room in the toe box. I don't look at anywhere else anymore.

Great comfortable shoe! I ordered the Privo Step in anticipation for an upcoming trip to Europe. I wanted something that would be comfortable for walking, since I know I'll be doing a lot of that, but also had some style. I wanted my shoes to be versatile as well, so I could wear them with casual capris or nicer skirts/pants to avoid bringing too many pairs of shoes. Luckily I finally found my shoe! First off, they are comfortable, for the most part. Right now, I'm still in my break-in phase, as the shoe feels tight on both pinky toes at the end of the day. Caveat: I do have wide feet. I walk everyday to work, which is about a mile each way and they are actually very comfortable everywhere else (e.g., arch, heel, ball of foot – almost like walking on air) with the exception of my pinky toes at the end of the day that I mentioned above. I have a feeling, however, that if they continue to break in a little they'll be just right. The padding in the footbed is also really nice and cushy. I wear these with ped/foot liners, which also help with any rubbing. As for style, they are really cute in a funky kind of way. It's true as the other reviewers mentioned that they do turn up like "elf" shoes, but that's what gives them their unique style rather than the traditional round toed flat. I've gotten nice comments on these. Overall I'm happy with these! If you're contemplating these shoes, go for it! After all, with Zappos you have free returns, so what do you have to lose?

LOVE THESE SHOES!!!! I bought these shoes for a lot of walking in Washington D.C. I had no blisters they looked absolutely adorable with everything I wore. I got a lot of compliments on them. I bought the white and I am going to buy the brown or stone.

Cute shoe with casual dresses - I have so much trouble finding a shoe cushioned on the bottom, wide toe box, narrow heel, with arch supports. This will do but even with an insert my feet were a little tired at the end of the day. It's cuter than my more comfortable shoes and certainly bearable at the office.

Great shoes - These are comfortable, good looking, and I am complimented on them almost each time I wear them. I have a pair in black as well I like them so much - can be on your feet all day.

Not really worth the money - These shoes are cute and somewhat comfortable, but I don't think they are worth the money paid. The sole is rather hard, but does provide good heel and foot pad support, but no arch support. I have a very thick ankle and the back of the shoe slips off and is causing a blister.

This shoe was a little loose in the heel and tight in the widest part of your foot, but once that got stretch out, it was more comfortable.

Cute, comfortable shoe, wear with pants, shorts & skirts - I have this shoe in two colors: brown and stone. They are very cute, and after a break-in period very comfortable. I walk miles in a day (say between 2 and 6 miles), and I am able to wear this shoe without socks. They do require breaking in slowly, however, in order to avoid getting heel blisters.
